- Ondrej Palat and Simon Nemec both found the back of the net as the New Jersey Devils won their second in a row, taking down the Seattle Kraken 2-1 behind an incredible 37-save performance from Akira Schmid.

Announcers are horrible. No mention of what a great play in the corner and then around the net and then pass by Mr.Jesper Bratt. Early Christmas present for Nemec.
It really was a terrible presentation....lot of rambling unimportant info being delivered mid-play throughout the night

Speaking of "Early Christmas present", the NHL and the Scorekeeper gave one to Palat on the first goal because that goal should've been awarded to Bratt since the puck deflected off his right skate and went in.

I feel like the only time we're seeing the kraken play the way they need to is always trailing late in the third. Would be nice to see that play for the full 60 not just when we're about to lose.

ugh kraken lose again. We look nothing like the playoff team from last year. Taking shots from 50 feet is never going to get it done
Seattle desperately needs a decent goalie. Grubauer ain’t it.
I would disagree. Hes kept them in a lot of games
@@austinsmith7731 if Grubauer was good, Seattle wouldn’t be close to the bottom of the league on save percentage this season. Also, I wouldn’t see so many soft goals slide by him game after game. Usually Grubauer doesn’t even start reacting to shots until after the puck’s already in the net. Nearly anyone can stop the puck if they shoot it right into you, and those are most of the saves Grubauer actually makes. Seems to me more like Seattle’s forwards and d-men keep us in games by limiting how many shots the other teams get on goal rather than our goalie making the tough saves. The Kraken has been consistent outshooting their opponents in almost every game - the difference has been that the other team’s goalie can keep the puck out of the net, while Grubauer can’t.
@@mglenn7092 i guess i havent been watching consistantly enough. Everytime i tune into a game hes doing pretty well. I think theres a problem if the kraken get so many shots and cant sink any, which is what i noticed

Didn't the first goal go off Bratt's skate?
No it went off palat..I'm pretty sure Marino meant to pass it to Bratt but Palat was skating towards the front of net and cut the pass off and went in
Strong disagree. I looked at it at every replay given by the broadcast (and paused and played it frame-by-frame) and that puck hit Bratt's right skate and went in.
The puck did not make ANY contact with Palat's stick whatsoever. Bratt got robbed of his 11th goal. @@beammeup1930

Talk about a very disappointing team. Seattle. I had a lot of expectations for them this year. The new years game may be very embarrassing for them on a national level.
These highlight packs shouldn’t be this long. Why are plays like 1:33 even included 😂 just adding pointless time, could be trimmed to 3-4 minutes
