I literally have this on fb marketplace for like 80 bucks nearly brand new and can't get anyone to take it lol. I agree though it's fanatic quality for the price just wasn't what I was going for. I went and grabbed a full remus valved exhaust and couldn't be happier but basically had to take a mortgage out on it lol. I've been telling people for years how underrated the B48 minis are. I'm in my second build. Throw a JB4, high flow filter and full exhaust on them and they really shine! The secondary converter and huge resonator kill it's potential but that's an easy fix!
You think downpipes are worth it on this engine? I could do with just a tinyyyy bit more exhaust noise 😃 I'm hoping a used JB4 pops up somewhere so I can save a little bit that way. These really do seem underrated and if it stays reliable I could totally see me getting a better spec F56 years down the road!
Those are fun little cars, I used have the JCW version. Have some AutoX footage of it on my channel. Also have some more recent track footage in my Elantra N. The videos of Will reviewing the EN at time attack actually helped me decide on buying the Elantra N. Cheers
It's my daily driver to complement my 370z. Just a fun little hot hatch that gets good mpg and I don't mind subjecting it to Michigan rust and bad roads.

I drove a dct f66 S last week and tbh its the most fun i had ina turbo 200hp car. Was launching it everywhere
They really are just little go karts with a torque heavy engine, absolutely love them
