I absolutely love my 02 alero gl the coupe was my dream oldsmobile but the sedan will do i must say as i am a permitted driver the car has held up for this learner as she will be used to take my test there actually good cars smooth comfterble if you take care of them

What trim was this? I thought the rear spoiler meant GLS, which would include leather seats.
the GL1 coupe and all GL2 aleros have the spoiler

my alero car is not in good condition but I can still drive it at least
I have a 2001 Olero (no power windows, etc). I have anti-freeze leaking on the passengers side. Not sure where it's coming from. Does it sound like the water pump as it was replaced 18 months ago? Any ideas.

Who's Alero was this and what happened to it?
It was my stepsister’s. It got rear ended and totaled.
This is just like my car, which I love, however it has started making a loud humming sound thats scares me, cant afford to break down right now..lol. Also cant seem to figure out how to check the transmission fluid.
Deborah Schenk The Alero transmissions do not have a transmission fluid dipstick, unfortunately.

There is a guy selling a alero, same year as this one, by me for $1000 but I dunno I read online they're pretty unreliable. Would you agree? also it's 179,000 miles.
ive had one for a little while, and so far it has never given me any problems, I have the 2004 version though

I think the Alero is one of the nicest, cleanest styled cars ever made. And I'm not a GM fan.
