I get visceral excitement when I see a new video posted and then need to find quiet time to watch and enjoy the banter and incredible vintage content. Thank you and keep it coming.
Adam your friend Phil has an outstanding collection of watches. I wouldn't know where to start with this collection either. He has a remarkable collection of Rolex and Patek watches. I'm really envious. Great episode😊
Hey Phil, great collection, I am still very much into vintage military and tool watches but this collection is just beautiful, there is so much to appreciate, true works of art. I am sure you and Roni Madhivani have met
The owner has unique taste, unlike most other collectors he follows his own taste and gutt feeling. A huge break-away from most collectors that just follow hypes. Great video
Ha - enjoyed the comment about not liking a watch for years and then the switch flips and you love it. TBH - that’s my feeling about the Midas too. Initially I thought it was faintly ridiculous. Now I think it’s very cool.
For sure, patience is key when it comes to adopting a new style of watch. AP was intelligent enough to know that when the Royal Oak wads first made, according to Mr. Biver, they had to push it and so many brands follow that same concept by constantly making iterations of a particular model until it makes or breaks. The Speedmaster was the most boring watch in the world to me and on one odd day, it became my favorite watch ever made.
I'm glad to see a Patek in Philip's collection, as I'm a fan myself. I own a Patek Philippe 5940J-001 Grand Complications Perpetual Calendar, and as a collector too, I buy watches as investments. Even though it's such an iconic piece, I'd like to do some research and find out its worth to potentially make some profit. Great Video Adam
Adam doesn’t care about putting music in video. He doesn’t care about reverse light from window 😂 still good video. Ayyy but wtf is that North Korean Leader statue behind the back da fak is that
Germany allowed watches to be delivered to POWs during the war. Rolex advertisement soldiers on the Allied side. There are actual letters to POWs from Rolex and back concerning these watches. It’s proof that this was a thing. Take some time and look it up. It’s real.
Sorry I’m not trying to be rude. But if you was a POW.. How could you have ordered that watch Rolex and paid for it on the return to your country if you were a POW.?

Interesting show, lovely vintage collection, thanks Adam 🙏
Glad you enjoyed!
Phil is all the best parts of the watch collecting world.
Just don’t tell him that 🤣
Nice episode, like the enthusiasm on both sides.
Thank you for the video. It’s so refreshing, so unique. Stunning collection.
Phil seems like a real passionate Guy his collection was eclectic and very interesting.
Indeed he is.
The watch that Toledano & Chan designed & produced is very eye catching, and reasonably priced.
The videos just keep getting better and better. Congrats!

Haha I am envious too!!
Incredible collection. I like that funky Toledano watch but I'm not sure I could rock it. I shall ponder on this.

I do miss the shows from Miami and vegas. Are there any coming up?
There are shows all the time, but haven’t been to one in awhile. Schedules never seem to align!

Yesssss.

Amen! It’s totally true. Your tastes are allowed to expand.
So good.
Fantastic collection, Phil also has an amazing car collection and a Rolex Zerographe. Definitely a man of culture/Geezer
He IS geezer culture!

Geezaaaaaa
The Geez is strong with this one!
My 2 favorite dudes 😁

@@mentawatches you 2 should do a podcast. You play off each other really well. I can host it 😁
1:00 do people hate the submariner?
:)
...another treat for true watch lovers...all the best!
Thank you!!!
You need to ask this Geezer to show you his home "baked" black bay 😂

No jumpsuit ? Cumaaaan geyser 😂
We were disappointed as well.
Great video and content but what’s going on with the hard cuts so off putting.
We’re doing our best :) but ty for the feedback! We are working on improving certain things soon!
I bet his second biggest passion is stand up comedy
£1 for every mention of “geezer”.
Adam doesn’t care about putting music in video. He doesn’t care about reverse light from window 😂 still good video. Ayyy but wtf is that North Korean Leader statue behind the back da fak is that
We do what we can 😅
Nice , iam more to dive and chronographs watches not dress watches fan

Yep!!! Crazy part of horological history.
Alongside watch of the week can we have shitter of the week, this one would have qualified
WE WANT TO SEE MASSIMO COLLECTIOM
We will again!
Bad lighting on the watch shots!
Its not rocket science. You rationalise how much you like it the more you look at it. Hardly groundbreaking.
Sorry I’m not trying to be rude. But if you was a POW.. How could you have ordered that watch Rolex and paid for it on the return to your country if you were a POW.?
The POWs ordered the watch via mail which was delivered by The Red Cross. Upon their release, the former POWs would make the payment to Rolex.

Also they thought us English would end up being allies so they treated us better, that’s why we escaped so easily 😂
Show us more clearer video of the watches! I think you have an idea how to improve!😂😂😂
We’re working on it :) had limited equipment at this shot.
