This is a re-edit of a trip I did in November of 2023, directly after I quit my job. I shot it as three separate videos, but during the trip I recorded everything in between each camping location. This version includes never before seen content, so that you can watch the video as I experienced it. A six day road trip to three camping locations. Thank you all so much for watching. I hope you enjoy this trip as much as I did.
Idky this video reminded me of a video you did a while back and had some car troubles from a tiny little car. What's the date on that video? Love the real content !
It’s not about the journey it’s about the fine details that go along with it. You’ve had a wonderful adventure in six days, I look forward to the next one!
Brother I'm so sorry to hear that man. Definitely keeping you in thoughts friend ❤️ Send me an email and I'll send you links to some patreon content: sam.rotroff@gmail.com
Hi Sam what a beautiful video 😇 my kids loved the salmon swimming across the street. That was amazing. Your videos are so good. That shots are so good. Everything you show is amazing. Thank you for sharing that letting us see it. See you next week.
Love how Sam takes you with him everywhere he goes. Thinking about hitting E-Bay to buy a bannana flask..lol....Oh yeah, man, I'd love to try Mrs. Bananna's dehydrated chili. Every time Sam makes that, it looks so good.
Dear friend you’re the greatest on adventure camping world thank you so much for andGOD blessed you and your sweet family A great thanks from Glendale California Jirayer
I’m enjoying your journey, you’re in my back yard. An awesome addition to car camping would be a gazebo. They fold up pretty small and are a great cover on rainy days. Remember, we all learn as we go along, and learning is half the fun . Happy travels !
I’m blow away by your channel it has become my favorite camping channel on UA-cam. I’m so happy that you got to do this full-time and live free. Good for you man keep bringing the awesome content I love it.
Enjoyed the experience you have just given to us. I have only driven around this area. I was trailer camping and it rained for 6 days. Thank you for capturing the lush flora!
I thoroughly enjoyed your video. Great views! Great experiences! The Pacific Northwest is beautiful, but you're always welcome back in Michigan. Keep up the good work Sir.
Sam.... Mr Bananas...your vids have been excellent since you left your job(not that they weren't before)... You've been great and wish you success on to 100k
I love it out here on the Olympic Peninsula. Land of slugs and sasquatch. In November it's definitely the Pacific North WET! Thank you for showing such a beautiful place through the Bananavision lens!
6:42 - Watching Sam figuring out how his rainmaking superpowers work is a lot like witnessing Superman learn to fly or Spiderman's first try at web-slinging - Greatly looking forward to the Killian origin story next! 😉
Dude, that was so funny!!! The mice… is it mating season??? No it’s the forest!!!!!lol Oh my God, I’m rolling ! I live on Mount Rainier and we have mice all over the place, but that was just classic. I love it.
What can i say other than I'm glad its not me out there! I traded my tent in for a 40ft camper and haven't regretted it at all! Hats off to all the cold and wet hard core tent/ trap campers out there 👍🙏
Beautiful scenery and terrific everything Sam. I hope you travel wide and free and show us more beauty and interesting things. All the best. Stay safe and well from me in Australia.😊
Epic adventure recap Sam. Personally I would of been miserable in all that constant rain. I don't like to be wet and cold without being able to dry out. But you're the champ for sure. Amazing scenery. thanks for sharing it all with those of us who will never have the chance to see those same places. Best to you and Ms. Bananas as always.
Welcome to the PNW, one of my MOST favorite wilderness areas period. Although the rain and chill can get to you especially in old age. You picked a late season hike, thats usually about the time red tomatoes start dropping of the vine, then frost hits and the remainder burst. The lurkers are rare but around, I've had one experience with one outside Clatscanie, OR. Shining headlights into pickup camper, lurking then pealing off spitting gravel on my truck. Hard not to shoot back, if you don't nip that behavoir in the bud they'll harrass somebody else as well. No brains, no life and way too much time on their hands. He may have been scouting your vehicle, looking for a solitary female or just playing stupid mind intimidation games. It always P.O.'s me but you don't want a confrontation unless you can back it up. Hate to say it, but you did the right thing. I always stealth camp anymore, have most my life. People can pass 15-20' away and not know you there, but a little distance is better. If you can hear or see your neighbors they're too close!👍 Forest maps of the areas make a big difference in your exploration and planning.
Hi Sam... Thanks for the video. Ref., that truck in the middle of the night: that would have tripped my ah detector, and would have immediately called the make/model/color/tag in. Sounds like some locals getting opportunistic. Be safe. Hey Mrs. B!
Love ur videos. The rainy ones are the best. Me and my hubby stayed in tent for six months due to being homeless. It wasnt all bad. We had a few rainy days and one very icy day and night. The icy one was scary. Keep up the good work!
I love it that you camped in the state I live in! I'm on the eastern side and we have nice camping around here as well. Have you ever hiked the Pacific Crest Trail? I did it many years ago at the summit of Snoqualmie Pass. Was just a day hike as a bad storm was coming through. Over in eastern Washington, we have the Kettle Crest Trail, and it is a nice hike near Sherman Pass. Haven't done a lot of hiking the past few years as I was going through cancer treatments. I'm in remission nearly three years but tire easily still. Hope to go camping sometime this summer.
loved ya video sam and wow what stunning scenery, sucks it rained so much for ya but it did make for a good video, cant wait for the next video, hope you and mrs bananas have a great holiday xo
Another great video, Sam. Thanks for sharing. If you ever get to come back to washington, check out the North Cascades above Carbonado. There are dispersed camping spots and wonderful views of Mt. Rainier.
If you’re going to do YT full time I would say you did it right- make your initial full time content creator video exploring Washington. Sights are spectacular!
I'll tell you again Mr. Sam Bananas. You channel is perfect. I love the food the camping . And now you need to add ingoing fishing. Oh and I love that you drink the entire time through your video😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I think your problem with your red camp stove is that you set the burner down below those three bent out spots. The rim is supposed to set on those so you're a quarter inch lower than where you should be cuz you set it completely down onto the stump itself. Take it out and set it onto the three bent out partitions that hold it and if they if it falls through then you need to bend them in a little bit. The way you have it set up is for simmering.
@@CampingwithSamBananas Oh yeah Sam. You don't want to use anything other than denatured alcohol. You can use 91% rubbing alcohol, but then it's going to leave a film blackness onto your pot. You don't want that! Denatured alcohol burns very very clean. I'm glad you solved that dilemma.
Sorry about the knife . But thanks for the info on the tang. Hey. Do a bone handle knife. All you need is one shed of a deer. Re-qwench the blade in oil. The put in oven at 450 for two hours then fix handle. Might even be better. Red hot quench . Then temper in oven.
Looks like you’d have FAR MORE chance of finding Bigfoot than finding some sunshine… Ain’t much fun hiking and camping in the rain… 😂 I DO appreciate that you made the most of a dreary trip!! 👍👍

Camping in a rainforest has it's drawbacks . Wet , wet , wet . Thanks for the trip Mr Bananas
Sure does. Go look at cost to cost missing 411.
