Damn lots of power left in that bad boy. Guys watching this don't get discouraged. My dart 347 with afr 185 heads, b Cam, Holley systemax intake, Anderson power pipe, 70 mm tb, and lightning maf along with 42lb injectors. Made 381/403 to the rear tire. You would think with the bigger cam and ci it would kill my motor. Just recently went carbed hoping to pick up some power. We'll see.
15 years ago I built a 354 that made over twenty more horses at the wheels than that, with 180cc Pro Topline (now RHS) heads, Edelbrock RPM, 625 Demon carb and Crane cam. IMO 195cc’s even with 363 cubes is kind of big for the street, would be better suited for 383-400 c.i. Correct valve timing and port velocity are everything!
ua-cam.com/video/PZSQ5KdJ2fc/v-deo.html. Huh here’s a video for you, 195 heads were a nice selection for their 363 even with large cam. I personally would run a 205 head on a 363 with a cam closer to what this motor ran.
man there is so much power left on the table like that cam should be a custom mechanical roller from ed curtis and that intake should be atleast an edelbrock victor
Put a x cam and a edelbrock rpm performer intake and I'd bet that would make close to if not over 500 I've seen a 347 Do it so with almost 20 more cubes it very well should f have
I have to question the push rod length. The rocker geometry looks way off like the roller tip sets against the valve stem champfer. Was it really that bad?

never seen a front sump pan fit in a fox.

Yep that camand intake killed it it should have made close to 500, with a 303 x cam and a edelbrock rpm proformer intake it would have us bet money

Good engine sounds solid
IDk abotu performance, but the SSI intake def looks the best under the hood hands down.
2:40 - looks off to me, is that correct?
What a great video
400 should be a minimum imo but regardless I'm Zhou g to buy a 363 and turbo and f.i system someday when my wife relaxes lol
Troy mackeod I see 347 make right at 500 so there's no reason it shouldn't face broke 400 lol poor cam and intake imo
Engine bay gross
