- Is it possible to beat the content of Honkai: Star Rail with ONLY Erudition Characters? That means the story, forgotten hall, simulated universe, etc.
With no sustain of any kind, it's definitely gonna be a challenge for us... And it begins with some gold ol' fashioned rerolling...

Destruction only is probably the best choice for a challenge like this. Most universal like swords in Genshin.

But you won't have any healers nor sheilder.
there's a bid missundestanding towards qindque, people just feel like they have to use all they're skillpoints on her, but she builds up the tiles whenever ally takes their turn, so you should use her skill if you almost have all the needed tiles(and also she hits very hard)
exactly!! just use her as a sub dps, she helps with quantum weakness and occasional big damage
I usually make her be the last one to have her turn, to have better chances to get all tiles needed, and like that use less skillpoints
This, Qingque's fast so people try to "big damge" her and spend their entire SP on a full hand turn one. Don't! Use her first turn to get SP and MAYBE use her skill next turn, you probably won't have to, but if you don't get a full set, a full set is usually only 1 or two draws away.

I use it a max of 2 times if I have skill points to spare funny how some people have no common sense and think you just use all until you get all the same
Jing Yuan is also Erudition! So you might be able to get him aswell! Also Qingque, she is very RNG, she can do good dmg or bad dmg, but you have to be lucky
Qingque is my main, trust me! Her rng isn’t that bad

Tbh as long as you keep using her burst, her rng isnt that much of a problem

@JammJarr I don't want Seele, so I use Qingque as my main quantum dps. She deals top-tier dmg if you have the right build and team that feeds her skill points. Every time she spends a skill point to role, she gains 20% dmg, which stacks, a jackpot gives her 50% more dmg, also stacks with her skill point dmg bonus and she does AoE. The erudition light cone in the game pass is especially for her, too, giving her 28% dmg output.
If i were to do this myself it’d be Nihility only. Not only do i love Sampo and Welt to death but Pela’s a sweetheart.
Same, Nihility is actually very diverse. You have characters with good AOE, characters with strong single target damage, it almost seem like Nihility characters were made to pair together
@@bloody4558 indeed. And as someone who’s first 5 star was Welt, he’s absolutely cracked. Though most 5 stars in the game are.
It would give him 2 characters to use unless the 5* Java mentioned is Welt. While he already has 3 erudition characters + Jing Yuan would be a nice addition since he will have his banner after Seele.
@@Lena-mt3ck for some reason I thought Seele is the only banner in 1.0 and after that is 1.1 with Silver Wolf and Luocha, but now I think I'm gonna spend my guarantee on him after losing a 50/50 on Seele. Was gonna roll till the guaranteed on her. I heard he's strong and his ult is pretty epic + his personality and cinematic are cool.
Spoiler alert,
Silver wolf will be Erudition
Nihility only would be interesting though. Seeing a ton of DOT effects really hits the dopamine

The novice banner actually has a guarantee to get a 5* at 50 total pulls. definitely worth it
i think that destruction is a better choice for the challenge lmao. It has self healers and clara’s light cone heals you. Also if you’re going to re-roll use your wishes on the standard until you get the 5 star you want, so that you still have the extra guaranteed. Hope this helps!😊
Jing Yuan would be deadly, perfect for this series, he can basically be the hunt for your team
As a honkai imapact player When he said 10:30 "but for someone who's dead you look pretty good" I died
Well with the next 5 star being an erudition this makes sense also it’s gonna be quite tough without heals or shields especially when you need to have 2 teams in the forgotten hall
On top of the weapon banner for him being probably one of the strongest light cones period
Some tips for Qingque:
Every time an ally does an attack she gets a new tile, I suggest you use her skill once she has at least 4 tiles and at least 2 of them are similar.
You can get her C1 for free which is nice!
At higher cons she can do REALLY good dmg since she can get free skill points which would be GREAT for this account since you need it.
Honestly shes basically a Mini Seele with RNG but shes REALLY fun once you get her cons.
I hope you can get Jing Yuan and the future ones that have been leaked since they look REALLY good :3
Java, Qingque does take ur e skills UNTIL you get four of the same, THEN it hits big atk if u haveher built, shes does 3k+ for me most of the time, im only 32 btw...
This has the potential to be more interesting than the Genshin series since you actually need some sort of heal or shield. Hope to see you continue it in the future
I feel like Himeko and Herta are gonna be a pretty helpful duo
at least Jing yuan is erudition so you can roll for him and then you'll have an erudition 5 star too 😝

BTW; Qingque is great "I feel like her skill wastes all your skill points" that's because you don't use skill points on her, that's a panic button.
Qingque almost ALWAYS has a full hand by the time her turn comes around after the first time, and pressing the button once, or twice WILL get you a full set. (She actually has a 50% chance to draw the one she needs, she can draw one of three suits, OR a blank! Which Mahjong rules, blanks are wild) but you generally don't have to, her BASIC attacks deal ABSURD damage once you level her up, and if you have a full set, damage go up and so too does her aoe.
Instead of treating her like a big aoe damage dealer, play her game, take some time to think about the game of Mahjong, using all your tiles isn't always the best play, if you can win this turn, it might actually be HARDER than if you try to win NEXT turn. She's GREAT in that she is a character you almost never want to spend skill points on, which means that's one character that (at least if you c6 her) is ALWAYS generating skill points for the REST of your team.

Path only accounts in Star Rail has got to be interesting. Though anything outside of preservation, abundance, and destruction seems incredibly hard late game.
maybe it will be a little bit better to use a specific element? at least some good teams would be possible, but erudition is still cool
this is going to be MUCH harder of a challenge since having different paths on a team is so crucial but I believe that Mr. Java can do it! excited to see whats to come :D

I'm confused, why having different paths matter? Aren't the most important thing the elements?
@@gabiblack it’s the character rope abundance are healers preservation are sheildedrs and so on
@@gabiblack paths matter as they are the different roles. for example abundance is the healer role and preservation is the tank/shielder role. of course elements also matter a lot but without a healer some content will be really hard. hope that explains it :D
i think this challenge will certainly be a lot harder than the others- and you probably wont even be able to do the next few simulated universe or the forgetten hall (spiral abyss) because theres no way for there to be a healer in the path of erudition, thus no way to survive if you have a low health after say fighting one enemy. the challenge sounds interesting but i doubt that it'll go far, since there'll simply be nothing to do as you cannot bypass those events.
He can however choose the preservation during simulated universe and get shields using the card till he unlocks the path of abundance there and uses it for heals
but see, the path of preservation blessings often assume that you DO have a shielder in your team, providing buffs for the shielder and the shield they apply. although there are a few exceptions, these are the blessings that usually appear in the preservation path, so i don't think it's a sustainable option.
@@aveert i mean a lot of the one star ones do let u get shields ez (let's be honest a lot of his only series depend on unsustainable solutions)and even if that doesn't work there is a very specific way where he gets the one elation blessing that turns ult to be follow up attacks and use it along with the follow up delay blessing and out dps everything
There's like, 7 different paths if I remember correctly, so wayyy more opportunities for "___ only" series
FUN FACT : If the ticket in the start has a rainbow glow then its a five star just so u know an ddont hope for a 5star when it's just a 4star

as once a qingque main, I know for a fact that she eats up all the skill points, however, a really good way to not waste them is using her normal attack, that will ditch the last piece and get you two new ones, whenever you have 2 of a kind, or 3 of a kind which is better, you can roll them with her skill and not waste all of your skill points. Or you can wait for themselves to roll into a 4 of a kind
Jing Yuan is the next banner and his lightcone is busted, you should save up for that

I think this series can last for a long time, like the, can i beat honkai star rail with this path, since in one of honkai star rails trailer they showed that there are more paths then just 7, so maybe they can add more paths for us to play, it would be cool and means tht more of these types of serieses can come out on honey star rail.(Sorry for my bad English)

Erudition is my favourite path, I often have Himeko, Serval and Qingque or Herta in my party, and when I don't need Natasha or March 7th I often have full Erudition party ❤

Coming back to the first challenge video I saw back at the start, I made a second account main Destruction, Abundance, Erudition only. I have since amended both my accounts and feel my enjoyment of the game has massively increased because of this video. Main account - Nihility, Preservation, Hunt, and Harmony. Second account - Destruction, Abundance, Erudition, and Harmony. One preparing for Blade and the other all in for Kafka.
Unfortunately missed most of the premiere due to my interest going out, but I still enjoyed the video a lot‼️

You can get a free erudition light cone + a 4* relic from an event going on atm. You can also get a free erudition in Forgotten hall which is pretty good.
Instead of the re rolling I feel like you could have played one account until you hit the 5* on the discount banner and let the path of the 5* decide your account restriction

I don't know if anyone has said this but the next character coming out after Seele is Jingyuan, who is a really OP erudition character, so saving up is a good option as well.
I have an idea for a series:
Honkai star rail, but you can only use characters that are physically touching the enemies while attacking (icluding touching with weapons). That means that you cant use bronya, natasha, serval, asta, welt (i think) bailu, etc...
