Hi! I just purchased this pattern. I had a hard time assembling the pattern pieces after following the instructions, so hopefully I did that correctly. I have failed with elastic and leotards too many times. Would you happen to have instructions for how to measure and cut lengths of elastic beforehand? I am worried about uneven leg holes since I am not experienced.
I completed a Bachelor of Design, majoring in Fashion Design, at QUT. While this degree wasn’t centered on my area of expertise, it contributed to my development. However, it did not specifically focus on costume making or stretch sewing.
You are so welcome! I hope that I explained things clearly enough, I've found that after a while a lot of parts become steps I don't even think about anymore so I tried to cover everything I could think of as best as I could

Thank you for an awesome tutorial! Can I please ask what uni degree you did?

Fantastic, thank you! Such valuable information for a rookie sewer! I love your patterns, keep them coming. :)

This is a wonderful tutorial! Thank you! ❤
My pleasure, I'm glad it was helpful!
How long does it take to develop the skill of sewing stretch material?
Like everything, it gets easier with practice! I have been sewing with stretch fabrics for about 6 years now
