i like that the outside screen is full size
Its bigger than my fold 5 but still not quite full size. Mix fold 3 is better in this regard

Forgot to put it on performance mode. Oneplus Open throttles CPU to save on battery. Performance is on par with all the other Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phones with the performance mode on.

Excellent foldable smartphone without a doubt, I migrated from iphone to Oneplus Open.
I think I’m going to upgrade from my iPhone 13 Pro to either galaxy fold 6 or Oneplus Open 2 towards the end of this year. I started gaming on my phone a lot more lately and I’m done with Apple locking my phone down.
I think u have it currently gimped. Check the performance mode. Numbers shouldn't be that low it's on par with ultra 23
I really like what that supports DolbyVision
I believe it also camera records in Dolby too.

How did you get it to work in tent mode? Other reviews mentioned that as soon as you even partially open the phone it switches to the internal display. Coming from the Microsoft Surface Duo line of devices for the last 3 years, I use tent mode a lot.
You need to open the camera in selfie mode with it closed then open you tube. Its stupid and one reason why i sent my open back
@@redstang70 Since I asked that question I have received my OnePlus Open and a few different UA-camrs have found that there is a functional tent mode - it simply is enacted based on orientation. When opening the phone, it switches to the inside screen, but if you stop opening and set the phone down on a flat surface it recognizes the posture and switches back to the external display. Works great, however it limits its use to a pretty level surface and not holding the device. Coming from the Surface Duo and Duo 2, I appreciated being able to tent mode while holding the device, and also loved that the launcher supported a landscape orientation as well when in tent mode.

I'd rather have the Oppo Find in three in gold. Exact same phone except for the chip seems to be a little faster in the OPPO even though it's the same chip which I find very weird😢

Im curious how does it feels pressing the inside screen when gaming does it affect the gaming or the way you press? Does it feels soft or will you dent it overtime when you play ?
Lol clearly you have never used a folding phone.
It feels just like glass, but just a tiny bit gripper. You won't notice it.
Thanks, I was considering on getting one but wasn't sure how it feels because i play a lot of games on my phone and i haven't tried on a folding device. 😂
Using a fold z5 now and screen texture represent no issue, I'm running stock screen protector and feels ok, doesn't feels like sapphire glass but it's perfectly fine, I game a lot on mobile as well, have in mind that some games are not optimized to foldable inner screen ratios, for example: Pokémon Unite.
Everything else is a bliss, not to mention emulation..... There ain't better than a folding device.
