I am at 9:22 and had to stop and lift my hands in praise, because I had a similar experience years ago when I thought I had forgotten GOD and was in the situation I was in because of that. In my hour of need, on my knees, behind a car, I called out to GOD with three words that just popped out of me: JESUS, JESUS, JESUS. I felt a very tall presence come down of sparkling light that stood in front of me, and like Nick just said, I KNEW it was JESUS, my maker. The thing is, I felt myself fall to my knees, but I was already on my knees. I am grateful to hear his testimony. GOD is good to allow us to know now, and help others to understand that, as it says in Romans 14:11, and Philippians 2:9-11, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that JESUS is LORD.

I was just recently saved. I understand. I do! I was a devout roman Catholic. I thought I had all the answers and was in the church of salvation. Then Jesus came along. He just showed me. Now, I am totally His. I get all what Nick is talking about. It is so exciting yet so saddening because my husband and my father-in-law do not get it. They have no clue or interest in hearing about it. They are indifferent. I just keep praying everyday that God wakes them up too. I am so happy. I want a megaphone to testify of Jesus Christ!

Yes, And I get what Nick says about bowing in the presence of His Majesty, His Holiness. I was kneeling , then prostrate, and in His holy presence, I could not get low enough. There was no condemnation, just His forgiveness and the weight of His holiness. When it passed, I felt like...clean, does that describe it?❤

He has such a contagious spirit. I could totally see myself hanging out with him, having a beer and talking into the wee hours of the night. He is so unashamedly his true self. Unfortunately I couldn’t find him on social media (instagram) to follow him. I bet his page will be so inspirational.

Love this!! Although this gentlemen did not mention this, I believe what happened to Him was the Baptism of the Holy Spirit! You can read more about it in the book of Acts! (For whoever is reading)! The book of Acts is soooo good on showing examples of the working of the Holy Spirit!!!

Hey compliments to his acting; I thought he was an older man. Wow! In fact, I think he should feel proud that he pulled that off, and it is interesting how much his character is a part of the show, and feels so much so considering he was a barely mentioned in the Bible, but he has fleshed out that character so well. I am glad the experience also was a positive impact.

You two are like babies in Christ. I am the old 66-year-old lady and it will only get better guys! I accepted Jesus in 1971 with Pastor Chuck Smith in Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa as a girl. The excitement and the zeal will change as life changes but Jesus is the SAME yesterday, today, and forever. The Spirit of God is ever present in your heart, and when the God of the Trinity touches you and speaks to you, YOU KNOW IT! You feel like Moses falling to his feet and hiding his face knowing he was not worthy to lose his sandle. The Father has a distinctly different personality. HE MEANS BUISNESS and your soul knows it. His LOVE is so powerful that your soul cannot help but respond reverently. Through your life as a Christian, you will learn to recognize the different personalities of the Trinity. All of them are present in your heart and you will grow with them now as a child grows up into maturity, you too will grow up and experience God's love through the Trinity. All things will be made clear in heaven. Keep on letting God lead and you will be just fine and fully blessed.

I am very aware that the Chosen is not a Hollywood production, being that I have worked in Hollywood as well as Christian entertainment myself. Lastly, My parents have invested in The Chosen, so we are more than aware that it is not mainstream Hollywood. 😊

What I am about to say, I say unreservedly, unashamedly, and unapologetically:
I really *_hate_* it when Christians refer to God as "a guy". He's *_not_* a guy, he's God. He's holy. I can't quite explain it (maybe somebody here understands what I'm talking about), but there's something that just smacks of disrespect to call God anything but God, Lord, Father, Abba, Jesus, or Holy Spirit.
Also, as people of God, born again Christ followers, we really need to watch our language, and avoid using words that even come *_close_* to sounding like expletives, such as the one Nick Shakoour used in this interview. And he either forgot, or just plain missed it during his time in the Bible, but if we're born again, then he, we, Christians, *_are_* saints. That's what the Bible calls us.
I know that some, perhaps many, will disagree with me on what I've said here, and that's okay. Just do so respectfully please. As adopted children of God, we do not walk on eggshells with God, but neither should we treat him with such casual disregard that we forget who he is: God Almighty.

I understand what you're saying, but take into account he is a new believer. Some people don't use profanity and their hearts are not as pure as some people who do. That is why we are saved by Grace. Without God's Grace, none of us would make it in.
