The best hairband imo, Motley Crue was more prolific yes, and not to discredit their musical abilities, I feel like Tesla is just a bit higher in that aspect.
I saw Tesla when this album came out. At a great little venue. 30 years later and I've seen close to 1000 shows. That Tesla show still ranks in my top 10. Amazing musicians with boundless energy.
Live acoustic is splendid! Frank Hannon doubles the solo, 1st 8 bars on acoustic, then he breaks the rules and changes guitars to shred on electric. Totally hot lead.
The Tesla Rabbit Hole Includes: Modern day Cowboy, What you Give, Song and emotion, Little Suzie, The Way it is, Edison's medicine, and so much more.... have fun guys
I saw the smile , you got TESLAFIED :D My all time favorite band. You'll fall down a rabbit hole listening to the rest of their songs. I've seen them 15 times... COMIN' AT YA LIVE is what you need to listen to.
You need to watch them play this live at their Five Man Acoustical Jam and speaking of guitar duels, Comin' at You Live begins with their 2 guitarists playing/dueling. It is a fast song that ROCKS!!! They came out later with a slower version Truckin' so not talking about that one.
Since reacting, have any of you gone back and just listen to the song, enjoying the transitions, the changes. This song is a really good one, takes me back to the great early 90s.
"Coming At You Live" is a banger they used as a show-opener. Funny enough I ended up seeing these guys 4 times back in the day, they were always openers for the band I went to see. They never really disappointed.
Regarding the intro guitar sound: I believe Ryan is thinking of Spanish guitar and Flamenco music, and Nick is referencing Medieval/Renaissance music where--in pre-guitar days--the stringed instrument used was the lute. You can really hear both of those styles in the opening. Sounds beautiful.
If you want melt your face off then Modern Day Cowboy and Comin Atcha Live are the tunes, but that doesn't mean those are their best songs. Check out The Way It is and Paradise. SONG and Emotion was written for/about their friend Steve Clark, the guitarist from Def Leppard who died. Edison's Medicine is a heavy rocking banger about Thomas Edison. Personally I always Iiked this moody mid-tempo track from Mechanical Resonance called Changes. 5 man Acoustical Jam is a great live acoustic concert that's really cool and features a cover of the song Signs, which they had a hit with and we learned that most of their songs translate really well to acoustic.
Making magic is what you are looking for if you want hard and fast especially if you like guitars. 3 guitarists. Was my favorite band during the 80s. Great Radio Controversy is their best album. Lady Luck, yesterday gone. Flight to nowhere. Heavens Trail. They are all good.
🦋 Tesla's- ''Little Suzi'' & ''Signs'' Would Also be Awesome Reactions! 🎶This One is my favorite Tesla Song!🎶 He Sounds Similar to Tom Keifer of Cinderella Yeah! But I think More Like Mark Slaughter from the Band Slaughter! Their Song ''Fly To The Angels'' Is Amazing!
I'm pretty sure only two members have left. Tommy was fired back in the 90's I believe. And Troy left/retired a couple years ago. Also Frank said that the intro was inspired by Randy Rhoads "Dee". And on the studio version he laid down a few different tracks to it to give it that double guitar playing sound.
These guys were our big local band way back.. Yeah you will enjoy modern day cowboy. They made good music. They made a sound a whole lot like Def leopard, who at that time were on top of the charts
Cummin' Atcha Live, Modern Day Cowboy, Rock Me To The Top, Cover Queen, Heaven's Trail, Hang Tough, Yesterday Gone, Into the Now, Flight To Nowhere. All Heavier fast songs.
It doesn't look like you ever got back into Tesla. So, to make it interesting, how about a track where they go after Edison and Marconi? Edison's Medicine off of Psychotic Supper.
It's not singer from Cinderella....that is Tom Kiefer.....the lead singer of Tesla is Jeff Keith. Tesla was huge in the 80's. Pease don't take offense but It is a shame you can't stop laughing at them long enough to enjoy this.
This is the wrong song to show off their hard rocking talents. Check out Modern day cowboy, Little Suzie or ANYTHING off their debut album "Mechanical Resonance".. AMAZING album start to finish You're welcome
Tesla is such an under rated band
Totally agree
The best hairband imo, Motley Crue was more prolific yes, and not to discredit their musical abilities, I feel like Tesla is just a bit higher in that aspect.
Absolutely!!
That solo! One of the most melodic solos of the 80´s!
I saw Tesla when this album came out. At a great little venue.
30 years later and I've seen close to 1000 shows.
That Tesla show still ranks in my top 10.
Amazing musicians with boundless energy.
Hands down the best Tesla song ever. It was a instant classic when it was released in late summer of ‘89.
their song "What youGive" is phenomenal. Harder rocking. Modern Day Cowboy...even harder and awesome
The Long Version Of ,What You Give
Is Thee Best
Live acoustic is splendid!
Frank Hannon doubles the solo, 1st 8 bars on acoustic, then he breaks the rules and changes guitars to shred on electric.
Totally hot lead.
I've seen Tesla twice. They put on a great show.
The Tesla Rabbit Hole Includes: Modern day Cowboy, What you Give, Song and emotion, Little Suzie, The Way it is, Edison's medicine, and so much more.... have fun guys
One of the sweetest intros in rock! Strongly advice the live version!
Bro I love watching young folks jamming out to the music I was raised on! Great reaction 🔥
Dig deeper on Tesla! They are Awesome!
Modern Day Cowboy and Heaven's Trail are two bangers from this band. They *slay* live.
IMO their best song hands down!
Tesla "Signs" is an awesome one to check out, for sure!! Y'all are funny, love the reactions!
Great song 🙌👏👏👏
Excellent song. Never heard of them before. Great reaction video.
Wife here..These guys really bridged a Gap to the very beginning of Grunge/Alt Rock...Beautiful "Latin" Guitar..Definitely
I use to call this the wedding song when I was 3
Aww you gotta listen to them live
I saw the smile , you got TESLAFIED :D My all time favorite band. You'll fall down a rabbit hole listening to the rest of their songs. I've seen them 15 times... COMIN' AT YA LIVE is what you need to listen to.
The most underrated band in the world
This was played on our high school cafeteria juke box everyday. I forgot it until i heard the chorus.
Those infomercials - my kids say why do you watch that? "just get the whole song". 😂
Song and Emotion ~ the best. Great backstory.
You need to watch them play this live at their Five Man Acoustical Jam and speaking of guitar duels, Comin' at You Live begins with their 2 guitarists playing/dueling. It is a fast song that ROCKS!!! They came out later with a slower version Truckin' so not talking about that one.
One of my favorites CDs!!!
Since reacting, have any of you gone back and just listen to the song, enjoying the transitions, the changes. This song is a really good one, takes me back to the great early 90s.
Very underrated band!
"Coming At You Live" is a banger they used as a show-opener.
Funny enough I ended up seeing these guys 4 times back in the day, they were always openers for the band I went to see. They never really disappointed.
thank you for playing the FULL song! too many people skip the intro.
Another Tesla song you should react to/review is "No Way Out."
Great reaction. Great band.
One of the best power ballads ever.
Modern Day Cowboy, Cumin' Atcha Live, Heaven's Trail, Signs, Had Enough, & I Wanna Live are all my favorites by Tesla!
Tesla was really good and such a good one from the era. This album is great. Jeff had a great voice and musicianship is great!
Hang Tough is the fast song you’re looking for, it did well for them and it rocks!!!
Try Tesla's Modern Day Cowboy.
Great band, get to some of their rockin stuff! 🤘
Fast? Heater? COMIN' AT YOU LIVE!! 🤘❤ First album rocked, so excited for 2nd, does not disappoint...seen them several times🤗
You guys are reacting to such great and diverse songs! I love it! ❤️🔥
Check out Tesla's live cover of "Signs" from their album "Five Man Acoustical Jam". Really great song! :D
If you want melt your face off then Modern Day Cowboy and Comin Atcha Live are the tunes, but that doesn't mean those are their best songs. Check out The Way It is and Paradise. Hang Tough is another awesome song by Tesla.
Jeff Keith has an awesome set of pipes on him. Check out What You Give and the acoustic version of Paradise.
Fairdale man here. Louisville rocks!
Funny that you said there are a lot of signs. That’s one of their major songs

Tesla- Signs
MODERN DAY COWBOY!! promise you'll love it!!
Lot of people see a little Steven Tyler in Keith’s voice. I can see that although Tyler’s voice is more bluesy.
Modern Day Cowboy rocks also!
Check out Changes. Great song by Tesla.
Oh the 80s hair bands. Awesome. Should check out more like warrant, motley crue, guns and roses and poison.
I hope you react to Kansas. "Dust in the Wind" would be a great place to start!!
April Wine.... Roller
Signs
Signs signs, everywhere there's signs, f---in' up the scenery, breakin' my mind, do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign?
Gotta do Modern Day Cowboy/Hang Tough/Or….Song and Emotion-tribute to Def Leppard’s Steve Clarke! They toured together a lot/still do!
The lead singer kind of reminds me of Steven Tyler from Aerosmith
Frank Hannon plays both guitars
even when you're making jokes ur banging your heads lol
You must must must check out Heavens Trail by Tesla
Sounds like steaven tyler
Named after Nikola Tesla, as is Tesla Motors.
Inventor of alternating current electricity. Tesla/Edison = AC/DC haha
What you give, little suzie, hang tough
Gotta do some Alice In Chains- Would, the video
It doesn't look like you ever got back into Tesla. So, to make it interesting, how about a track where they go after Edison and Marconi?
Edison's Medicine off of Psychotic Supper.
I always thought the singer was your girfriend's best guy friend that she alwys told you not to worry about😂
The host (all three) has never played guitar before
They can express their own opinion
Thanks. Now listen to the whole thing
Could you please do a reaction to House of Pain by Faster Pussycat. Thanks
It's not singer from Cinderella....that is Tom Kiefer.....the lead singer of Tesla is Jeff Keith. Tesla was huge in the 80's.
Pease don't take offense but It is a shame you can't stop laughing at them long enough to enjoy this.
No offense taken. We enjoy every song we react to in some manner.
Rock bottom
Dudes...how have you never heard of "Tesla" other than the car???
Did your Science classes never discuss Tesla?
🤔😮😄😅😂🤣
This is the wrong song to show off their hard rocking talents. Check out Modern day cowboy, Little Suzie or ANYTHING off their debut album "Mechanical Resonance".. AMAZING album start to finish
You're welcome
ua-cam.com/video/wSIS23Ogn4w/v-deo.html
Lol no not tom kiefer
The recorded version sounds… not as good as the live. WTH? Sounds kind of medieval lol
React to be a man
Don’t insult Jeff Keith. You been fucking warned.
Kids who were born 20 yrs after this band has any kind of legitimacy. Lmao.....this channel will die soon
You guys are anoying
