Contrary to what I say in the video, uograding Loot Rarity a little (lvl 10 or 20) can help to progress faster! But still prioritize Loot Frequency.
Disclaimer: this is the Steam version of the game, and as I have purchased it when it got released, I got double gain unlocked for free. Now the game is free-to-play on Steam, and double gain can be purchased in-game. Unfortunately double gain cannot be disabled, so in this series I might gain more items/resources per game because of it.

I have a tip to share for completing the basic and cannon kill count quests. Once your sniper tower losses the ability to one shot mobs in any particular run, you can add the Search mod to it, and set it to Strong. That will bring many mobs to within kill range for the weaker towers. Works well if you have extra room to upgrade the sniper some more throughout the level.

I was scared of endless, im at the point of almost maxing a few towers in normal (canon, splash(maxed), tesla and flamethrower)
hearing your tutorial really gave me the confidence
It's long (and repetitive) the process to get loot frequency close to lvl 100, afterwards it becomes much faster to get tons of loot and bd

This is good. I didn't even know I had Endless mode unlocked. I thought I had to buy all research in Normal mode to unlock Endless.
once i tried beating the game by using ONLY snipers, not even antiair was allowed, i only could use abilities
and funny enough, focusing on a single tower makes research so cheap, that i could beat stages 3-5 with no effort, i was literally getting 3-stars back to back
then i used the sniper to heavily grind in customs at high difficulty because this guy is just a killer if you give him some experience and research, literally dealing 300M dps with 1 tower (max endless),
it takes me like 5 minutes to get 10k BD (6.3 takes me 8-9 minutes to get the same amount)
however max endless isn't that necessary, i also used sniper + customs in early endless and it was really good as well, i was getting 3x more BD from customs until i have maxed out my miners, then 6.3 was slightly faster
basically it's not bad if you focus on a single tower, but it's important to pick a good tower that's worth upgrading
The fact that you need abilities to even make it work it's why any single-tower strategy is not ideal :) sniper is good, but has too many weaknesses (flying, fast, toxic, icy and lights)
@@alexshatterstar89 i had to use abilities ONLY for air enemies for the sake of the challenge (and perfect 100% sniper stats), i could use antiair on top of that and i wouldn't need them at all
@@lool8421 it's true that 3 stars requirements are quite easy to achieve, and on custom maps you can select enemies, but I'd still argue that upgrading a little different towers (not maxing normal) and then start upgrading only splash for 6.3, is better :)
ups, i was only upgrading the frezzing tower and the rocket launcher, too the flamegun because it do more damage of all the towers wiht the first freezing tower hability. i was not using endles mode because its so hard, i was maximizing the normal investigation of all the things and towers.

Umm what is the minimum research for 6.3 and then it become effective?

I don't think there is a minimum amount you need, you can try it and see how it goes. Ofc less research (infiar mining speed, splash, coins, prestige) means little loot
@@alexshatterstar89 actually, i got more loot on 6.3 (keys, chest, blueprints, etc) but i got less bit dust and resources than 5.5 :/
I think i should go 5.5 when i need resources and 6.3 when i need blueprints

I like using this video as a guide. It has been a big help. I am on the part where I am trying to finish 25% of the quests to get further down the prestige tree. It takes a long time. I am getting about 1% a day. Ouch.
That's great! Unfortunately it's quite long, you need around 306 quests completed to achieve 25%
What is the reset strategy for the quests? 25% for the first one and what about the next few?
25% for first two resets, then you can go for 100% to unlock the master trophy
Go for extra quest slot, 120 stars.
can you explain how to complete the rumble? My rumble still has no star and the stage next to it(dev)
For those levels you need pretty good towers research, but as I explain here, it's not 100% needed to get the stars early, you can wait until you upgrade your endless research and your towers become much stronger
At what point should I worry about farming enough resources to upgrade my towers?
Never really, if anything after you max LF and LR, and then BBDR, that's when you'll need to farm a ton of infiar (and bitdust) to max all research!

@@Elipsis150 oh sorry! Loot frequency, loot rarity (prestige tree research) and bit dust drop rate :) if you follow what I recommend in this video ua-cam.com/video/sqPn4ISs1S4/v-deo.html , you should never have to farm resources to upgrade your towers, not until very very late
@@alexshatterstar89 sorry just one more question. I am trying to unlock prestige, but am missing the weird ticket looking resource. I got enough stars on stage 5, but there is one thing I'm missing. Do you know how to find this?
@@Elipsis150 to unlock prestige (the very first upgrade) you just need 24 total stars on stage 5 and then maybe some green papers, but that's it! Once you do that, you can now sell custom maps or reset quests to gain prestige tickets, which are those special tickets you are talking about :)

Multishot not so much, minigun instead it's pretty good

You don't get bitdusts (or chance of loot) if you complete quests on easy
