It makes me wonder why I have spent so much on rifles in my collection. I have a Remington springer which produces similar results and there is nothing wrong with that. Good review Andy thanks.
Andy…another very informative review, thanks. I’ve been watching your channel for a couple of years and it has helped me, a lot, in deciding which airguns to purchase. Keep up the good work!😊
There seems to be a wealth of decent budget rifles out there. Some of the less well put together ones don’t have any excuse now, with guns like this coming out. Great news for us, as everyone is forced to raise their game.
@@Pornelious_Hubert Kral np02, gamo phox, crosman icon, to name a few. I’ve shot all three, and own an np02. all pellet on pellet accurate with a half decent scope on them.
@@Pornelious_Hubert I think the important thing is to hold, and if possivle try the gun, to make sure it suits you. If you are shooting in the garden also important that it is quiet.
Hi Andy ! ..... loved your review of this fab priced pcp rifle .... I love it , it`s got everything you need . And best of all it shoot`s fantastic .. A great buy .... Thanks Andy for your hard work for us to enjoy 😃 Cheer`s Si
The triangle form is actually very smart . It makes for large chambers silencer without need for high sights. I was looking for my first small bore rifle , this could be it. Titanium alloy cylinder and regulated at this price point ( onder €300 at the moment ) is very tempting .
I bought one of these for my daughter, 9ftlb and an awful trigger from the box! Having a little knowledge with Air Rifles, fitted a far less powerful spring on the rear of the trigger, little bit of adjustment, now a lovely light trigger, open up the strangled transfer port ( obviously fitted in this country by a numpty leaving screws loose inside) now just under 12ftlb , what a great little gun now😊 easily gives my 1400quid BSA a good run for it's money 👌🏻👍🏻
You mention looks but you don’t look at the mantelpiece when your poking the fire!! But for £300 U.K. and producing groups like that, it’s definitely not to be sniffed at. I can see many of these in the back of land rovers, pest controllers etc, this has definitely become a contender at that price producing results way above its belt. Nice one.
My girl friend got the 177 bull pup a few weeks ago her first air rifle and she is getting 5p size groups at 42 meters 😮 using exact Rs using bottle in the sweet spot don’t let it go below half pressure scope is ok but I’ve changed it for a hawke would recommend this gun certainly for a beginner certainly enough power and accuracy for some vermin control
I wonder , after watching all your posts and loving your reviews for years now - I am close to buying a PCP rifle for the first time now. One thing you dont offer is comparisons, which makes your services awesome still , but little help in the final step - review pre-purchase. I fully understand that there are so many differences between our beloved rifles that apples and oranges doesnt even slightly cover it - but at a price point - say sub £500 for starters , can you consider how you might offer a shortlist or top 5 or similar in the many categories you could define for our sport ? Once correctly thought about , this type of content could service 20 episodes or more and offer a person about to get their feet wet options that they can then select based on their personal preferences? In short, you are clearly my go to source of data on air ... things, can you help me short list in key brackets what YOU prefer - or what features to look for at least ?
"Remington"..😆 ..while the gauge says Snowpeak..😁 But I really do not mind that. Shot well, and that is all it needs to do. Looks nice too - and has nice features. I actually like the Toblerone barrel end. Allows the air reservoir to be longer than it would if it had a big round can on it.. Quite nice rifle if asked me. I would not mind owning one if the price is right..
Might be wrong because its anecdotal but I read that something to do with Remingtons import license and agreement allows them to get the thing tweeked to meet UK specs if it doesn't meet them already, and slap their name on it. Like the AEA Element, you can only get it in the UK as the "Remington" Element, even though its an AEA with the word Remington slapped on the side
@@simonnoble7589 Hi Simon! I'm all good, thanks for asking. How are you today? Yes. For 300 that rifle both looks and performs fantastically! If I'd find sucha thing for 300 - I'd definitely would consider buying one, even though not personally my most favorite platform style rifle.

Dependent on the "compressor" was maybe supposed to say dependent on the compression 😀 The gun is a Artemis/Snowpeak T-Rex, comes in a bullpup version as well, but I think this might be the first review in English that goes through so many variables of the gun itself 👌 Like watching your reviews, and the thural "how to" information given on the various airguns 😊 Have you considered doing a review of the Reximex Lyra or Reximex Force 2 ? 😊
Looks like it's using Norse Runes as a handgrip pattern which is interesting and different, maybe to get Viking fans to buy it as well as dinosaur, green flash and Tobarone fans? Looks very nice either way.
I'm not a fan of air guns that have fixed shrouds and silencers, it is sometimes nice to have the freedom to play around with different silencers, but for the price that does seem like quite a lot of gun with features. It's regulated and the cylinder is a good size too. Definitely one to compete with guns twice the price.
In fact you can remove the silencer and put one that u want , its a 1/2 unf , but its a bit difficult to remove it , you havr to screw and unscrew from inside , a french youtuber/gunsmith said it
I'm ordering one right now sire it won't compete with my other high end pcp airguns but it looks nice for its money I've spend alot on airguns i want to see what a budget friendly airgun can offer
When I got up this morning as usual looking forward to my Friday morning video I thought I hope it's the t rex and bingo here it is Looks better than I thought it would be Will you be looking at the t rex bullpup ? Hope so Thanks Andy 👍👍
Showing a budget gun and not showing the included scope is a bit poor . Some People on a tight budget will end up having to use the supplied scope. This made the video feel a bit like an advertising push for the scope you used, rather than a test of the whole gun kit.
I love your reviews. Can i ask a question ? A lot of the rifles are pretty much the same, is there much actual difference? For example, are there any really poo avoid at all costs weapons ?
Great review as usual, i am very interested in knowing if the T-Rex bullpup is any good, It looks very much like a P35, have you had a chance to try one and if so would you recommend one?
A brilliant review as always!! Is this the very same gun as the Artemis T-Rex? Also, may I ask, which one would you consider a better choise for a first PCP; the Gamo Arrow or the T-Rex?
Love your videos and in detail descriptions of all your guns, just wondering I know its an old gun but can you do a review on the AGS - PCR 1 SINGLE SHOT .22 (5.5mm) PCP AIR RIFLE. as I've just been given one back off my son, keep up all the good work 👍 steve
Morning Andy, I love watching your reviews. You’ve even persuaded me to buy a couple. But some of your reviews you don’t mention what the thread size is on the supplied filler probe is?. And can you please tell me why the filler probe’s aren’t a standard size!, thanks have a great weekend.
Nice rifle and at an affordable price too but I noticed a button forward of the trigger guard which I quess to be a safety catch. Is this an auto or manual safety ?
Good review Andy, tell me; is the rex magazine held In with magnets or just a friction fit in the breech. Also can the power be tweaked a little higher ?
Andy i enjoy your reviews but when a gun comes as a package please use the supplied scope, if it realy is rubbish the change it during the shooting review. I have four rifles fitted with BSA essential 3x9x40, affordable and if i can see and site in ( i have Glaucoma in my dominant eye) then anyone can,i also have two Nikko Mountmaster 4x12 x44 scopes and on my S400F a Hawk 8x32x40 Target scope for Benchrest Comps.that was half price £90 in a sale all of the others were below £45. I have no problems with any of these, apart from the S400 they are all spring powered guns,
On looking at the shape of the moderator,it appears to have kept the height of the moderator low enough to not impede the iron sights and also to not be in contact with the air cylinder. Cheers from Downunder 👍🇬🇧🇦🇺
