I love the blue filters because you can clean them with the water hose and leave under ceiling fan for about 6 hours and it is good to go. I keep at least two or three filters and always have one clean. I love the bags for keeping the drywall dust down. The blue filter with a bag is the best for drywall applications but I have never cleaned a wood stove with mine.

Thanks for your review! Do you have a strategy to clean the filter best? Do you think I could run a blowdrier at it?
That's great to hear. I normally go outside with the filter and tap it against something to get all the heavy dust out. Make sure to be upwind of it, otherwise you'll get covered with the dirt and dust, likely breathing it in. You could blow air from a compressor to get it extra clean. Hope that helps.

I just don't get it. Why doesn't the stuff fly out that air hole? I have 3 shop vacs in my basement and can't use any of them because THE DEBRIS SHOOTS OUT,DUH! And yes, I'm so very frustrated and angry that everything simple is so hard. I'll tell ya, studying German philosophy is much, much easier.
There's a big filter inside this one to keep that from happening. You can also purchase another other filters for fine dust, water, etc. German philosopy sound more tricky to me, lol!
I must admit the product registration process is pretty horrible. I doubt ill ever buy another Ridgid product again
That's too bad. I haven't tried to register with them yet. Hopefully it gets easier someday soon.
Well is a WET AND DRY VAC..NICE VIDEO BUT YOU DIDN'T PICK UP ANYTHING WET..
They require a wet filter, purchased separately. I made a video review about that showing what you're looking for. I think I timed how fast it can suck up 3 or 4 gallons of water.
6hp??? Really????
That's how they rate them.
And I just got the Mom Hoe Day special. Pimping my mom at Home Depot
Cool; but it’s corded. No thanks.
I reviewed an 18V, 9 GAL wet/dry vac. Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/pJtzLDe6-BA/v-deo.html. This might be what you're looking for.
markthomasbuilder that’s the one! Thanks!!
