This is so helpful for me right now. I broke up with my bf like a week and a bit ago, it was actually pretty similar to Sahars break up, my needs weren’t being met and it wasnt me, he would reassure me that he loved me and then continue being distant. It hurt so much to have to end things but I knew it was the best decision for me. Thank you for both being so open about to break ups and I hope you both find someone even better! 💕💕

Thanks for the video. I’m about 11 weeks post breakup. Around my birthday. Well on. Was officially in no contact before Christmas. That break up on top of losing my pops to cancer in Nov.
It meant a lot because I thought I found my person and they didn’t see it. But also both he and I were also getting over really bad relationships. So I did learn how it is to enter a long distance relationship while healing from a bad experience. This vid is so comforting rn I just went through a breakup like a week ago bc the timing wasnt right and it hurts sm bc no love was lost and nothing happened life just got in the way, its hard to process im trying to move on. Ive been too occupied by all the stuff going on in my life rn to be debilitated by it 😭😭 i just really hope things get better for him and hes okay bc what hes going through is really shit and maybe theres a chance for us in the future but ur so right dont hold onto the idea but when theres someone out there that you already have everything with its like why would you look for anyone else. It's been 8 months for me, and I'm finally starting to feel okay again, accepting what is, and letting go of what I truly wanted more than anything ever. I've had to keep showing myself how great I am. How it's her loss. That she was lucky to even experience just a fraction of my actual real love. I was always enough. That the fact that I can love someone that deeply is telling of what I'm capable of. And ultimately, reminding myself that my life is about me, not her. There is so much more to me, and if she couldn't at least recognize that enough to find out, she doesn't deserve to. And she definitely doesn't deserve my love, energy or attention at this point. No more calls or texts, and if I respond it'll be bone dry. Gave myself to her, now I'm taking me back.

Oh wow this video came at the perfect time. I’m a freshman in high school and I just got broken up with by my first boyfriend last week. It was very much like Sahar’s situation (he broke up with me for his mental health and I think he also didn’t love himself enough to love me.
