That's so true. I'm kinda stuck in my situation rn tho. At the school I'm at, the way Sahar described toning yourself down bc other ppl made you feel like your shine wasnt a good thing and they look down on it. That's seriously my situation.

I have a problem….
So basically this girl who we had a fight with last year (P) is friends with a girl that I’m kinda friends with(L). One time I was telling L about P and she went and told P. My other friends ER are also friends with L. When I found out that L told P I told ER and they didn’t do anything and still was friends with L. I didn’t want to hang out with L anymore but ER still hang out with her but I don’t want to. When never ER and L are hanging out I stay away but then ER think I’m ditching them and they also think i don’t want to be friends with anymore..

Okay i have one bit to share about a long lasting situationship that was happening to me (for 7months). We had a great time, were basically acting like a couple sfter 3 months of seeing eachother, but we were not official. So i said to him that this situation bothers me but he said he think that a man is the one who should ask a girl to be his girlfriend. So i overthought EVERYTHING, wanting to give him the ultimatum for not commiting but in the end i just went with the flow and he asked me to be his girlfriend after 7months. Sooo yes not commiting is a sign that a guy does not like you but in my case he just needed time.

so i’ve always struggled with getting guy friends but for my sport practice, i met this kid one year older than me (he’s a junior) so we started talking. we got close and like kept in touch through snap. but then i started overthinking bc he would talk to other ppl in practice and not me tjay much, tho he’s said that it’s all just an act and he fakes it til he makes it. so i tried not to overthink. but i kept overthinking and he also said that he would start talking to me more bc i told him that i can’t initiate conversations. but like i get jealous or mad (idk it’s stressful) whenever i see him doing something i don’t do, like him talking to other ppl on the team, wearing bracelets even tho i wear bracelets, etc. and i feel like i keep venting to him too much, even tho he opened up a lot to me. he said that he’s really busy with stuff and like idk i felt like i wasn’t busy enough? or like i could be doing things w him. but thank u for listening 🫶🫶🫶

I don't have friends at school at all, I feel like no one ever likes me at school, there being so mean. I don't understand what I did wrong, I'm not a people pleaser, not rude or mean to anyone there. And if someone tries to talk to me I always support and cheer them up. I cry a lot, but no one threre knows it. Like I cry, I can't be happy constantly. Sometimes but recently I think a lot about it. I'm some kind of jealous of them being happy all the time. They do not struggle with these problems. They have chill parents and can do and wear whatever they want. I've been struggling with these problems for 3 years after quarantine. I would be very grateful if you would talk about this too

SAHAR I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS SO MUCH! ❤❤❤❤❤ i love all of your advice and how you are a swiftie like me! i actually need advice on something you touched on in this video. it is how to not be your friend's therapist all of the time. i have a couple friends who always come to me when they are sad and tell me that they think they are ugly and stuff. they are good friends and we hang out and we're both swifties (the one i'm talking abt rn) . i feel like i am always telling her she's not ugly and she's valued by so many people and when i tell her something about me (accomplishment or something) she doesn't celebrate me, she just goes back to talking about how she is "depressed all the time and no onee cares about her". she is not depressed though because she is usually smiling or excited about something. i want her to celebrate my accomplishments and stuff instead of just attention seeking... she sounds like a really bad friend but she is actually a pretty good one just this is a bit of the time not all of it. she told me that she feels l like there is nothing in life to live for and when i uplift her she always adds negativity to it. i was excited about doing the braid hairstyle that i saw on spencer barbosa' channel, and i was talking about how cute the bow is and she barely acknowledged it and she was like ummm... ok... omg i'm so depressed. and i was just like staring at her thinking she is literally not depressed what is happening? please please use this one for your next advice vid it would mean so much to me!

soo a bit of a vent
Lately like idk what happened suddenly but I feel like my friends really stopped getting me like emotionally
(I guess?) so im a rlly BIG swiftie but they all just make fun of me bc of that and it started out light but now it's gotten a lot worse with her saying that Taylor isn't that good, overrated, wins too many grammys, overrated, all swifties are pick me girls, etc and I just feel kinda hurt but I don't how to tell them cause they're my only friends and I just don't know what I would do without them. Like ik that taylor isn't everyone's cup of tea but dont pick on me bc I like her.
Also since the start of our friendship they've treated me like I'm a burden, undermined my achievements, made fun of how I dress, talk and act, I've been told many times that I act too childish (we're all 13) they claim i act immature bc I don't wear makeup (im not allowed to) and dont have any sense of style, they say they don't wanna be seen with me but a part of me still thinks they don't really mean it and I can't tell them be it would destroy our friendship and I REALLY don't want that to happen They're my only friends and if they leave me I'm scared I won't have anyone.
Anyways my problem probably won't be seen but just wanted to vent and love you Sahar, watching ur videos always helps me cheer up ^^

hey sahar!! i have this one really close school friend and we’re both sophomores in high school, last year she got in a fight with one of our friends and i was there for her when she was feeling left out and had her bad moments because i wanted to be there for her. come to this year and now i’m feeling really left out of our friend group and i feel like me and her are drifting and i really don’t want to. i feel like she’s being distant with me and i don’t know what to do. i want to feel more included in the group but every time i try to include myself i end up being left out or not included. i want to spend more time with her because she’s one of my best friends but it hasn’t felt like that for the past few weeks. thank you so much for offering this sahar you’re like the big sister i never had 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Guys lots of people probably won't see this but I need advice... so there is this guy I've known him for a while but I've never really talked to him before till this school year I've always thought he was super cute but at the time I was talking to someone and he would always ask like if I was dating him and at the time I wasn't so I would be like no and he would be like "are you sure?" And I was like "yes" (the other day he asked if I was dating that same guy from that previous year) he would always stare at me and obviously I stared back!!!! And this year I've actually had more than a few conversations with him!! He jumps into my convos and I constantly see him looking at me and my friends see him look at me all the time to!!! He always makes mean playful jokes and is just super sweet and good looking!!!! I've never seen him talk to a ton of girls just 1 and she was asking her a question and he was sitting next to her (he had to) but apparently he's one of the popular kids and he's on the football team he probably has a bunch of girls just waiting for him... and I don't even have his phone number 😭 should I give up? Am I overthinking???
