- Don Falcone has heard of your dealings with Luca Gurino and thanks you. Realizing this is now war, the plan is: kill Alberto Clemente and his top associates at the Empire Arms Hotel while they are having a meeting. Joe adds to the plan by pulling out a bomb which scares the hell out of everyone in the room. His idea is plant the bomb under the table, use a window washing platform to detonate the bomb... After replaying this game this year I realized how unsensitive Vito is
After serving in WW2 he's probably used to close ones dying and more cynical, while Joe is more emotional.

It's kinda smart to have the protagonist be like that since it makes it more believable that you're killing hundreds of people in the gameplay. Same with Lincoln Clay

He is used to combat more than Joe does, Joe just carries a gun and was used to be carrying it to threat it more than actually in necessary for needed it because he was to busy enjoying the luxury of the life than actually putting up his hands on the dirty business of the job.
Remember that Joe wouldn't got where he got without Vito and his skills, Vito wouldn't get his money without Joe's connections. Its a pretty win win situation for both of them.
@@olofman300 I like characters who feels the weight of every death he made throughout the story, like Aiden Pearce, Arthur Morgan, Joel and Niko. But at the same time these games give these characters a nod to them, like they were experienced enough to when you literally just starting playing as them, you character is already a pro.
I like how in Mafia Remake for example, in order to not make Tommy be a John Wick style of killer in the game, they toned down a lot of stuff and made him clunckier on which I guess it fits the overall place of the character better. Tommy has no firearms background and it is actually the only one character who has development in Mafia series on which we see him changing from a innocent driver to a great gunman. It kinda explains why the aiming so bad and etc

I always find the roof top part a little bit weird. They closed the door and say "let's get out of here", but they still went in after.
Yeah, just recently played the game for the first time, felt like maybe there was supposed to be another stealth section or something.
When Jo says those guns are the only two in the world, that's shown how much Joe cares for his friendship with Vito. Pure bros till the end. Fucking love it. What a moment.

There is one plot hole I feel like exists in this mission. If a big Mafia organization are renting a floor in a public hotel, why would they conduct business that has to revolve around someone getting their ass handed to them, and subsequently making a "mess" in one of the rooms? It doesn't seem like the janitors would've even been needed otherwise. Now with two outside men, they could've been less stupid. I mean, perhaps Clemente is designed to be full of himself, however, not checking the room the two janitors just cleaned sounds ignorant.

Joe proposed the use of explosives which Eddy objects, also to use Marty as an extraction driver. which in the end he's killed because he's a bad at fighting. Vito seemed to see things through so he objected the decision to add Marty in this mission. Joe stood with his decision to add Marty into this suicide mission.
