Vito is greeted by Joe's girl, one of them anyway. She tells Vito that Joe is out to lunch at Freddy's and wants Vito to meet him there. Once the scene is over, get some clothes on and go outside. When you get out there, the same girl who left Joe's place is just leaving until suddenly some guy in a Jefferson Provincial hits her Shubert 38. He starts getting angry with her. Go over to investigate and talk to the guy. He starts an argument causing Vito to grab him by the throat and telling him to get lost (you could also shoot him, but you will not achievement be unlocked). The man reacts violently so fight him. Once he's dealt with, she will thank you and try making advances but Vito declines. This will earn you $50.00 and the "A Lesson in Manners" achievement/trophy. After that, just get in your car and drive to Freddy's. When you arrive at Freddy's, head upstairs. When you get to the stairs, a cutscene will begin playing where Vito meets Joe and Henry. Henry introduces that mysterious man from the previous job as Luca Gurino. After some small talk including the chance of joining the family, Luca leaves and lets Henry explain the next job. Henry explains that some guy has angered the family (because he didn't want to give Clemente a cut of the action) and now is marked for death. He also mentions that he was marked once before, but survived because he killed his would-be killer. But Henry reassures that this time it won't mess up, by stating he has rented an apartment across the street from his business and has an MG42 from Harry. Henry ends the cutscene by telling Vito to collect the gun from his shop in Kingston and deliver it while Joe and Henry meet at the apartment, Room 233.
Head downstairs and exit the building to your car. Follow your radar to Harry's Shop and when you see a broken "ARMY NAVY" sign over an alley, drive down it and you will find Harry's Shop. Exit the car and ring the doorbell and wait for Harry to talk. Vito will tell him Henry sent him to pick up the package and when he buzzes you in, head inside downstairs. You will be introduced to Harry, a one-eyed veteran. Harry will bring out the MG42 and explains it even as so much as saying that unless its in a tank, they're dead. After awhile they have a talk about being soldiers during the war and what they did while in the service, and Harry tells Vito how he lost his eye. After their chat, Harry tells Vito that he can come back whenever for a gun...

HMGs are not what gangsters are supposed to use so easily. too heavy to carry around, requires setup. and law enforcements would find out very soon and a serious crime. a possibility to be indicted of Terrorism or High Treason.
interestingly sometimes mobsters might use bazookas when fighting another gangs.

The guns in this game were fucking amazing. Even the MG42 you only get to use once, everything has the right sounds and the right handling that it feels just RIGHT. The pistols kick like you'd expect, the shotgun actually works like a real shotgun and not like a video game one where the pellets turn into cotton candy past 10 feet, etc etc.
I love going shotgun/pistol only, blasting someone in the legs is a blast to do

And they made an extremely detailed MG-42 so that we can play for a few seconds in the whole game. Few in Sicily and another few at the brewery. Why? Lol
Originally there were more missions planned in the liberation of Italy flashback.
Remember that 60% of the original content got cut.
I loved the early cars in this game on the icy roads. Was sad that time jumped from the prison stretch.
Harry sounds a lot like Frank Woods from Call of Duty Black Ops.

What I love about this game is that pistols are actually powerful and not useless like many other shooters, the ending however is rather a bad cliffhanger that's not even strong.
It picks up a bit at the end of Mafia 3 when Lincoln helps Leo walk to his car and then we see that one of Leo's drivers is Joe
I always feel bad for people who beg the other people to not kill them. Even though no fat guy was actually harmed. But still, It brings a tear to the eye .

This game was literally a mixture of Goodfellas and the Godfather. The story was outstanding. The characters were beyond phenomenal, let alone legendary the storytelling the pacing everything was just a 20/10
Then Mafia 3 came out where your going AGAINST the Italians…. The story wasn’t good the graphics were an as good everything about the game was very subpar and a big letdown for a lot of people including me. I know that they’re on the brink of making Mafia 4 if they do that they really need to stick to how original the game used to be. don’t go over the top with the action, don’t give us an Ubisoft open world (open worlds are fine when done correctly like Skyrim), don’t try and reinvent how the looks and feels, definitely don’t set up this game to be a massive hit so you can potentially set up the next game. This game was basically as you can get but everything was just right the combat was just right at the right moments they knew went to add attention, they knew one to decrease detention,they knew when to build relationships with characters and the world around they. I’m sorry this became a little bit of a rant, but this game is such a staple to any other game out there and also an example on how to create a game basic, fun and very immersive. What’s even better about this game is if you play all the cinematic cut scenes together it feels like a goddamn PROPER movie like you’re actually moving along with the character.
