Now they need to allow you to disable autosave and quit without saving
They should make it so when a creeper blows up you get ALL THE BLOCKS TO FILL THE HOLE.
There's probably a datapack for that

WHAT
YOU CAN USE ^ ON BEDROCK???
How long has that been a thing????!?!??!
Why are we not talking about the profanity filter setting tho? Cause if disabling that really lets you say anything I'm gonna be quite happy, I've wanted to name my gear some dumb stuff that isn't even that bad to say but it gets blocked
There's like a text file with blocked words, if you empty it you will unlock those words
@xenird I didn't realise it said windows for this setting, as a console player I cannot edit the files and if this setting only releases for Windows it's kinda dumb but oh well, it's at least a step in the right direction if that's the case I guess🤷♂️

Edit: corrected spelling mistake
They sure took their sweet time, they pump out marketplace bundles 24/7 but we had to wait years for them to add a simple feature that almost every other game has day one. 🤦♂️
Cannot BELIEVE how easily I fell for the discord call sound
“Better late than never” ahh fix
We got Bedrock pausing before GTA 6
Wow, I can't believe minecraft bedrock added a feature that's been included in practically every game in the past decade, truly revolutionary! 🥳
Now time to wait for version parity lol ( I'm still baffled that natural regeneration from a full hunger bar is so slow on bedrock edition )
One decade would go back to 2014, but it's more like 2-3 decades of pausing being a basic feature in video games.
@olasdorosdiliusimilius2174 yeah, I'm assuming it started to become a staple even earlier but I just have no data to check when that happened
Slow Regen makes sense, with the fast Regen there's 0 reason to be using health potions or Regen potions basically
@@L_ightninng I know that java regen is perhaps a little too strong but on bedrock if you for example fall into lava even for a moment and you are using something like iron armor there's a high chance that you are going to die anyways. There were several moments when I was mining for ancient debris, lava appeared out of a wall, I blocked it off and still died since regen simply wasn't enough. I switched to the bed strat and it was kinda my fault for not having enough fire resistance potions but you can still sometimes die surprisingly quickly even on a lower difficulty
@@kovexplay The fast regen came with the combat update and bedrock got a weird frankenstein monster mix of features from it, except the best parts (freely using the offhand and sweeping edge). The shield isn't worth using in bedrock since there is a delay on when it actually blocks shit and you being required to sneak to activate it. Good luck trying to kill a skeleton when it can shoot at you, but you can't make ground.
I can play hard on Java and die a couple of times, but trying to do that on bedrock is just frustrating with the post combat update AI with pre combat mechanics.
0:03 I love the implication that Pheonix usually plays without the Profanity Filter on
It took Don’t Starve Together about as long, too. You’re not alone!
yeah but at least that one was designed to be only multiplayer from the beginning whereas bedrock was supposed to be both singleplayer and multiplayer
I played dont starve together for the first time recently and it has so many more issues to worry about.
Doesn't surprise me quite as much here because DST was designed to be multiplayer, first and foremost.
If you wanted to play singleplayer Don't Starve, you'd just play Don't Starve.
Why this has to be two separate games, I have no idea, but it makes sense to me that the multiplayer version of the game didn't have singleplayer specific features like that.
@@Benefard the "sequel"/multiplayer version of Don't Starve
thats because Dont Starve Together is.... TOGETHER. The base game, Don't Starve, had pause functionality from the start. See how that works? No pause in multiplayer server based.... YES pause in single player. Astonishing

their finally making bedrock slightly less shit
They also made profanity filter a toggle too
Hopefully they can also teach you the difference between “their” and “they’re”.
0:38 yeah java has also done this since 1.3 its not an unsolvable issue
Parents rejoice.
0:55 that discord call actually made me panic for a second 😭😭
It's been even longer than that! Bedrock was based off the old Pocket edition, which released in 2012, and that also didn't have game pausing, so in reality, it took 12 YEARS for them to add pausing.
I've heard old versions of MCPE *did* have pausing.
I feel like I could pause in old PE. Because when I went to play it on my phone after many years of not playing, I was in shock that I couldn't pause. I feel like that's something that I would remember. But I usually played on peaceful back then, so maybe I'm misremembering.
@@BinToss._. i've had MCPE since 0.5.0 and I specifically remember it not having pausing.
@@BinToss._. They did not.

Love how the “best” version of Minecraft (according to mojang) just got a pause feature after so long lol, Java’s has it since like day 1
When did they say it was the best version?
Mojang is kidding themselves lol, javs is so much better
To be fair, it's more like day 266 (counting from the public Classic release).
Hey since bedrock is just the pocket edition but ported to everything in existence, since PE never had pause, then we've actually waited 10 years instead
Bedrock really is just "Minecraft at home" huh.
Bedrock is why I switched to peaceful mode and lost the ability to play on any sort of difficulty. Can't tell you how many tines on mobile ID put the game down and come back to being dead and all my items gone.
Since when can Bedrock skins blink? 1:21 can you blink on Java?
Since like... Literal years
it's a part of the character creator. it's been a thing since the beginning of the character creator. so like 6 years
Pretty sure like 2021 or 2022
any skin made with the character creator can blink, but java doesn't have access to the character creator
@@Iniosiun421 oh... Can you make it blink asynchronously?
"Player can now pause the game" sounds like a patch log from an indie game that's been in development for 2 weeks

Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and Minecraft: Chine Edition are different games
I was just ranting about this last night 😭
I will never understand any game developers attempt to force a player to exit to main menu just to go afk, this has been a thing many games try to do either by forcing online connection or what have you, but literally just making pausing not a thing is so wild and exactly why bedrock is a joke, the fact they made it a toggle as well to try and frame it as a "option" .... what benefit is there to disabling it? NOTHING! 😂😂😂 i will never understand why bedrock continues to exist even, why does it exist i seriously don't understand it
OMG HI PHONIEX I LOVE YOUR VIDS❤❤❤
truly huge
Finally!
I have been playing Minecraft Bedrock for YEARS WITHOUT PAUSE!
I used to play legacy, where the game pauses. Once I switched to bedrock, It wasnt until I saw my Friends moving that I realized:
*The pause menu doesnt pause the game*
On Java, if you're playing multiplayer. The game only pauses you, not other people or even mobs.
why would it pause your friends? are your friends ai?
yeah wait how would that even work
I still practice my pause key sequences before a single player session just in case I get a phone call or whatever. It’s like warming up for any other combo. Sit there waiting the PS2 to load up and work your favorite Tekken or Mortal Kombat move on the controller.

Most of the community is on bedrock. The most loud part of the community beg to differ.
@@dankali735true most players probably are on bedrock, but what this person means by the main version might be instead referring to how many bugs the version has compared to java, which i think many players would agree on
Bugrock is the iOS of Minecraft
Just like it took iOS ages to add movable apps on home screen, which Android had since the beggining
It took Bugrock ages to add Game Pausing, which Java had since the beggining
And both are considered the "luxury" and "intuitive" versions of the product
As a Java edition player,I see this as an absolute win
