I got one today and have also ordered the hdmi switcher… i wanted to know that using hdmi switcher is safe for our pc and gpu can it damage them as it takes power from the machine
Recently the rgb of gpu lights went off o doubt this was due to using hdmi switchers

Thanks for your question! The UGREEN HD135 HDMI 2.1 cable is a solid choice, and using an HDMI switcher is generally safe for your PC and GPU as long as you’re using quality equipment. HDMI switchers are designed to be low-power devices and shouldn't cause any harm to your system. However, if the switcher or other connected devices are faulty, it could potentially cause issues.
Regarding your GPU's RGB lights going off, it’s unlikely that the HDMI switcher directly caused this. It might be a coincidence, or there could be another factor at play. If the problem persists, it might be worth checking your GPU connections or settings.

    It's obviously hdcp 2.3 if it's a 2.1 HDMI cable.

Great question! While HDMI 2.1 supports HDCP 2.3, it's not always a requirement. Some devices might use older versions. I'll be sure to clarify this in future videos.

@@unboxthinkerer I only mentioned that it's HDCP 2.3 because you said HDCP 2.2 on the video information.

      Hi Revolver1981,
Thanks for catching that! You're absolutely right, the UGREEN HD135 being an HDMI 2.1 cable means it supports HDCP 2.3. My apologies for the mistake in the video description.
This is a great point to clarify for viewers. As you mentioned, some devices might utilize older HDCP versions even with an HDMI 2.1 cable.
I'll definitely be more precise about compatibility in future videos. Do you have any other questions about HDMI or tech in general? I'm always happy to learn and share!
