It is truly unbelievable that a blaster like this even exists. If you were around the scene 10 years ago like me, it's a little tough to wrap your head around the fact that blasters like this and the Trion are just readily available to fire ridiculous velocities incredibly smoothly. Even compared to 2020 when the Nexus Pro came out, the progression here is just wild.
As somebody who still has a Nexus Pro (although I'll admit it's pretty modified, my field just still uses full-length darts for their general admission games) as their primary, I agree! I didn't expect to be feeling blaster envy until at least 5 years after I bought my first Nexus, and boy was I wrong
I too am constantly blown away having also come from the era where this performance was only available to those who were willing to build it. I’m glad to see the barriers to entry being much lower, even if it’s sometimes cost prohibitive.

Personally, I would totally be willing to pay 170 USD plus maybe a bit more for the other barrels and springs to get a well built powerhouse that is a reliable without relying on 3D printed parts. As nice as things like the Lynx are, I have never pulled the trigger because I don't have a printer and having replacement parts shipped to my location is very expensive. Injection molded, with metal internals out of the gate without the teething issues of the Swift is exactly what I have been waiting for.
Tell me you don't understand a basic business concept without telling me. Hasbro is not targeting anyone who treats Foam Blasters as a hybrid of Sport and STEM hobby. They only see them as toys for kids. They only want to sell to kids.
@@m00k61 this Worker Harrier starts at $130, Game Face Trion is $80. Also, Dart Zone has the Max Stryker and Nexus Pro at $50 and their Pro line offerings floating around $100. Those are all quality blasters. Maybe not super high-end, but definitely quality. $200 to $300 is what quality niche market, specialty, low-production-volume blasters cost. $300 all the way up to $700 and more is what quality, bespoke, custom one-of-a-kind blasters cost. By claiming one can only acquire a "quality" blaster for $200+ you may turn off some newcomers to the hobby and stifle the growth. Please choose better wording next time. Thanks.

Seeing "amazing" in the title and remembering the raise of expectations Coop laid out in his 2022 recap tells me this is gonna be a good one! Might actually consider buying it despite its price tag!
Keep in mind the top picatinny rail being one solid piece adds a level of reinforcement and overall rigidity to the blaster. Trying to opt out for two smaller Picatinny would remove that reinforcements and structural Improvement which I don't think would be worth it.
2 things I wish had been mentioned: 1) White may be preferred for paintjobs (seems to have been the intent) 2) ORANGE TIP THE BARREL!!! The gun-metal barrel and parts look great but are going to cause you trouble and may get you shot, this does not look like a toy even when white. Besides that, I'd love to see Coop provide range-accuracy tests for these high-powered blasters. Bring back 'range-time'! :)
Yeah this is another in the new trend of models that basically look like they could be real steel. Which is an increased factor with the actual pic rails, stock and grip, plus whatever sight people add. I honestly think getting the orange one is the smart choice, which I think he intended.

At a certain chrono velocity it might be necessary to start rating how it feels to get beaned with a dart. Also, that side prime handle makes me want a H&K style charging handle on a blaster.
I'll definitely get it when/if the price drops. $190 + shipping, with tax, ending up being a well over $200, is definitely too pricey for me. The Trion (as well as other Dart Zone Pro blasters) hits just right at $80 to $100. $150+ is when you start getting into the insane numbers for a spring blaster. I'm into this hobby big time, but I've got bills to pay lol
Considering out of dart’s preorders for these already ran out of stock, I doubt these will ever drop in price unless several years have passed and there are more exciting things to get.

Worker blasters have always been a little pricey, especially back when there weren't a lot of big names selling 120+ fps blasters...until Dart Zone showed up and gave us the 150 fps Nexus Pro for $50. And then a couple years later, we got the 200 fps GameFace Trion for only $30 more. I wouldn't be surprised if within a couple of years, someone releases a 300 fps blaster for a little over $100.
@@ClovisPictures with the Worker Harrier you get a lot more metal parts in the package though. All relevant parts, except for the plunger rod, are metal. Gameface wouldn't be able to offer that for less money
I really like the the inclusion of the range. Your post about being the best reviews on UA-cam hopefully this is a worthwhile comment. One flaw I see with the spring change out is that you are exposing the plunger head and o-ring each time. That messes with the air seal and can get debre on it.
coop can we get a 'tier list' for best blasters in your opinion for each class of competition? for instance best stock, best super stock, best ultra stock, etc? i think it would be helpful to those who don't know the difference in the classes as well as for purchasing.
@@itsagundam79 Essentially various FPS levels. The faster the darts travel, the more effective someone can be. Exactly what each level is defined as can depend on the specific group.
One thing I want to point out to get to the spring you only need to take the back two screws off the top rail before the two long center screws to get to the spring

This blaster looks and reminds me of something from halo (it looks so cool and kinda futuristic) I hope you review the new elite 2.0 storm charge as I recently got one and it’s actually really good, it’s a stryfe reskin but the grip fits me really well and it kinda looks cool
Love your review format however i feel like it would be a good idea to mention the presence/lack of an bright orange muzzle, as there is likely a lot of people out there that wouldnt consider this and get into trouble. Already preordered mine. I like my Max Stryker, but it flexes and creaks a lot when I'm handling it. The Harrier will be perfect for something a bit more solid.
The only real problem I can think of with this gun is that the tip of the barrel doesn’t have any orange which can cause a lot of problems if you take it outside.
Coop772 I wouldnt agree that the Swift is obselete. This harrier is lie the best reskin of a longshot I have ever seen. The 450mm barrel if the optimum one for power, the 550mm for cozmetics. The Swift is the long boy sniper, with a better powerplant for people that want more than 300fps. And the Harrier to get to that fps will require heavier springs than the Swift, making it even harder to prime again over the Swift. I think though that this is a very solid blaster from Worker, who has actually listened and fix the issues with their older more expensive to set up ranges. This puts them back in the game against other offerings, but with much better potenial out of the box, and with better shell quality than the other palyers that have entered the space in recent years.
Regarding your opinion on the breakdown feature requiring screws, I'm actually excited they used screws and the picatinny rail as one piece. Reason being I really like precision, but if the 2 halves are not connected firmly together, the wobblyness, even small, will affect the precision. Example blaster is the Indra from captain slug. The harrier screws tighten on and the long picatinny rail locks the 2 halves together preventing wobble. Oh well this is just theory, I'm waiting for the 2nd batch of harrier to come so that I can buy locally.
Aw man, I love the overall look of it, simple but effective. My only complaint is iron sights are a big deal for me, even on normal nerf guns. I like and prefer iron sights over optics, even in airsoft, and shooting real guns. Iron sights on blasters just gives me an emotional response, similar to a response someone would get with a sniper type blaster for example. So the fact that the irons are hard to use is disappointing for me personally. But I'll probably still get the blaster.

My 100% guess about the breakdown to change the spring, i think its built that way for strength. They know they could do a 2 part top rail. But i think that full length rail is to make the gun more stable, more rigid. Which is also why id guess they made it out of metal and not plastic. No one ever complains about plastic rails, they do the same as metal ones and their lighter weight. But being this one is metal, it really screams to me that its there for strength, therefore making the breakdown for a spring change alittle lengthy. Again, just my guess.

we’ve gotten to a good place with attachments and stocks using pic rails or something close and either an m4 buffer tube or the nerf stock attachment but we don’t seem to have a great standard for barrel attachments which might be nice for barrels like this that don’t come with an orange tip for the barrel
Coop, quick question. Why do say you have to take the top rail off to change the spring? As far as I can tell on my Harrier, all you have to do is remove the two back screws from the top rail and the two that lock the blaster body together to get them apart.
Kinda glad I held off on getting a Trion just because the amount of work I'd have to do to make it anywhere near this cool looking would be ridiculous. Guess I'll be getting a teal Harrier to go with my teal Phoenix 2.0
The top metal rail probably reinforced the structure of the entire blaster. Without it or if it came in two sections, the connection between the two halfs of the blaster shell would probably break at a higher spring load.

$50-60: Nexus/Stryker
$80-90: Trion
$160+: Harrier
This is what I'd like to see in our hobby. Obscenely-high-quality blasters that can be mass-produced, so they don't end up being several hundreds.
About 200 is what a quality blaster costs. More with extra options. 3d printed or injection molded.
Who cares what brand name is on the side as long as it exists?

You should definitely add a SCAR or BCAR barrel! At this velosity, adding spin to the dart is crucial : )

They do deform, but they're flexible and will jump back to their original shape. Well, most of the time, and if the glue still works

For the spring change, you could probably only take out the back two rail screws and leave it attached to the front half of the blaster.

we’ve gotten to a good place with attachments and stocks using pic rails or something close and either an m4 buffer tube or the nerf stock attachment but we don’t seem to have a great standard for barrel attachments which might be nice for barrels like this that don’t come with an orange tip for the barrel

Why do say you have to take the top rail off to change the spring? As far as I can tell on my Harrier, all you have to do is remove the two back screws from the top rail and the two that lock the blaster body together to get them apart.

The top metal rail probably reinforced the structure of the entire blaster. Without it or if it came in two sections, the connection between the two halfs of the blaster shell would probably break at a higher spring load.
