Kasragod District lies in the northen part of the kerala. This part of Kerala is shares its border with Karnataka. Because it is very near to Karnataka you can make one day trip from Mangalore , Puttur ,Uppinagady ,Sullia etc
Here very famous temple Madoor Mahaganapathy, Malla Shri Durga Parameshwari and very unique Ananthapura temple.
Another historical place Bekal fort also lies here. If you want back water and house boat expierience you can visit Neeleshwar. Kadumane hanging bridge is a untouched beautiful scienic place
