Hi I'm Wendy a resin artist and crafter.
In this video I explain how I put temporary tattoos in UV resin and show you a couple of tips on the way.
If like me you have a love hate relationship with UV resin, hopefully this video may help.
The resin I used is a foreign brand which I bought from Amazon. My only stipulation at the time of purchase was it had to be hard type.
The temporary tattoos also came from Amazon and there are plenty available.
If you have any comments suggestions or ideas, please use the section below and I will do my best to get back to you.
    Thanks for watching

I had a cheap UV resin. Not sure if it's bad or waited too long. Thrown out.
Then I tried jdiction uv resin & it works great. But I have a much bigger 68 led UV flashlight. GearLight XR68 it was $10 with $5 off last month.
Works to harden it very well. But you're right in that it does take longer like 3 -6 minutes more or less on how hard you want it as quickly as you want it.
I've heard an even stronger light will work faster.
Jdiction uv resin has been great for doming & it's not too bad a price for smaller pieces anyway if you get it on sale on Amazon.

I highly recommend buying UV resin from Amazon because you can READ THE REVIEWS. I'm assuming you're in the UK so there's no sense in my recommending a specific brand as I'm in Canada but just read reviews. You're looking for low odor, fast curing, and no yellowing. Also, remember you have to cure in layers and the light has to be able to pass through whatever you're working on. I use a good flashlight and a good nail lamp. This was a really cool project I must do right away. Thank you!!
