I bought it. It does work but trial and error for setting it up. The video explains it well but I personally ran into more complications

I have personally purchased this ebrake my self, just got it in today actually! I do recommend getting the ebay ebrake. It is 100% plug and play. It works on G920 and works on forza, Assetto Corsa, car x, dirt rally etc.... it works! Thank you 940🙏🏻

Bruh I bought the same Handbrake but it never said it didn’t have 2 USB ports. It is only one USB that u can plug striaght into the console. So it doesn’t work for any game. The handbrake doesn’t connect to wheel or nothing. What do I do? Sell it?

yeah you can either sell it or buy a potentiometer switch and wire it into the your wheels button board.

Great video but my problem is on my wheel there is no USB port could u go in depth as to where the usb is
the wheel has a usb out that plugs into the handbrake, then the handbrake plugs into the xbox.
The ebay version says for xb1 psr and pc but the aliexpress says for ps4 and pc cab u use the aliexpress one for xbox is that the one ur using??
you gotta find the right link that has the correct handbrake. its designed specifically for a certain wheel and certain console

correct. thats excatly how i have mine working on the xbox ... my handbrake was listed for a ps4 but i figured its the samething thing lol. and it worked perfectly

Dave Sisowski don’t expect g920 comparability. I hear good things about the g29 and these, but in my (and various others’ reviews I checked) experience, they override your force feedback settings on a g920/Xbox one X. Every game.
It doesn’t work for ps4, I plug everything in correctly, handbrake red light appears for 2 seconds then NO green light… also wheel does calibrate but 5 seconds after plugging in & at a slower speed & doesn’t work, no buttons nothing. Can’t find a video explaining enough
If you are using the correct dual usb one leave the wheel usb plugged into it and the with the small one, plug it into the handbrake to power everything on. Hopefully you ordered the one specifically for g29 on ps4 and it has to be dual usb. If not it will not work correctly.
If you can do this why are people buying buttons taking something apart and stuff like that?
because this is expensive and not guaranteed to work as alot of people have had issues lately with it. for example even for myself it worked flawless on my old g920 but doesnt work om my g923

I've been looking at getting one of these but can't find out if it's progressive or just a glorified button !?
Can you tell me if it works like the pedals, so does it have any range to let us apply varied pressure (0 to 100%) as a real handbrake does OR does it just work like pressing the 'B' button on the controller, so it's either just On (100%) or Off (0%) only and nothing in-between ??

if your on xbox its not progressive. if using on pc it is. for some people they got it to be progressive. if your drifting or rally racing theres really no need for it to be progressive regardless

Most important does it work for first DIRT rally 2.0 ? ....... So it maps to B okay cool
any game a wheel works on. it just bypasses any button you map it to on the wheel
Ordered this, plugged it up worked fine. Then I started having issues getting the wheel to physically work at times. Sometimes no force feedback, but would function. And other times like right now, the wheel will power on, do it’s calibration but no buttons or inputs work. I can’t even get out of the menu.
This has happened a few times and a few unplug and replug + power cycles it would begin working again with no issues but right now I’m stumped.
Any ideas?
yeah. when in a game turn off the controller. then to turn on the wheel unplug and plug in the small usb cord to the handbrake like i do in the videos. once it calibrates, sign in with wheel and then turn controller back on
Mine is doing the same as well, on Dirt2.0 once plugged in, it doesnt have force feedback. Any ideas why??

yes and no. i wouldnt take the chance. theres been too many issues on TMX wheels with them. but works 100% fine on logitech unless its damaged in shipping which has happened to a few friends

@@TURBOMOOSE yes 2 ports. The calibration & lights on wheel reacts 5 seconds later after plugged into ps4, & the calbr rotates a tad slower that usual (like it has half power).
Handbrake red light comes on when connected for 3 seconds then turns off. I’ve made sure everything else is connected, only thing is it’s not the original micro usb cord, but honestly that shouldn’t make any difference
Yeah the cord shouldn't matter. It's hard to diagnose as I did this for xbox and not ps. But I know people using it for ps.
Where did you get the other wire from no the one that goes into the Xbox??

Been a couple years. Make sure your using the dual usb unit on a g920 or g29. As mentioned it does not work with a g923

audio glitch. its supposed to say plug. but yes the plug that is from the wheel, plugs into the handbrake and then the handbrake usb plugs into the xbox

I have a drivehub, g920 and th8a and this handbrake works awesome when I hook it up the way you have it... but I REFUSE to use that plastic BS shifter logitech makes. so, I’m kind of in need of someone who has experience with this sort of setup, as I’m new to sim racing all together, myself.

@@Ricky_slide_master it works with logitech wheels. i have no idea if the drivehub will register it but the wheel plugs into the handbrake and then the handbrake mimics the b button. so it might just work with drive hub

The handbrake I bought doesn't illuminate green upon plug in only red. I've plugged the wheel hub into the hbrake and my wheel now doesn't respond to my Xbox the hbrake doesn't allow me to setup with my wheel. Any suggestions? Many thanks

Works fine with JUST the wheel on the Xbox, so cool I guess... but my h shifter is a thrustmaster, so I have a drivehub.... it will NOT pick it up even though the light is going green and acting the same way it does when it’s going to work... so confused and actually disappointed enough to sell my rig 🤦🏼♂️ thrustmasters shifter is out of the question so iunno
no idea. why dont you just get a logitech shifter, theyre cheap enough, then u can use the tmx shifter as a handbrake or sell it and make your money back.

nope plug and play. there isnt one on Amazon. the ones on there are only for pc. on ebay or ali express you can get the one that works with xbox. it has to have the two usbs like in the video. make sure you watch the entire video to understand everything. you wont have any questions after watching it

There’s the same hand break you have on Amazon for $120 cad but it’s says only pc and the one that says it works for Xbox is $220 cad. Can the pc hand break out for Xbox because it’s look the same

get a hub adapter and then a cheap wheel off ebay or wish. the new nrg wheels for sin rigs are 100 and the adapters are 35. tbis wheel is way more

@@TURBOMOOSE same wheel setup and everything, could potentially have a different handbrake but it came from ebay and was 199.99 awhile ago, has both usb ports on it and when i plug it all in, wheel lights up and spins but wont do anything on screen and the brake lights up red pulling it back rather than green

Nothing works with a g923. I switched to one before switch to a t300. Plug n play won't work and neither will a drive hub work. You can open up the wheel and solder into it but then you void your warranty. Best to save for a pc

@@TURBOMOOSE That's kind of my situation I've always wanted to have a Logitech scaring will and I'm super super excited but I'm kind of big on drifting and rally in forza so a handbreak is definitely necessary the stationary paddle shifters are wonderful though I'm very used to that from my lancer and my mother's Nissan

@@TURBOMOOSE Well, it is matter on how to make it compatible with PC. I have plugged in using one USB, but the computer doesn't recognise the USB as the handbrake. So, to make it compatible with the PC, you have to press and hold the button for a few seconds, and it can be recognised as the handbrake.
