East Tower Hill on my CRF300 Rally

I visited the fire spotters lookout on East Tower Hill near Mathinna in NE Tasmania. The fire tower access was locked, so I flew the drone on its fateful last flight due to a crash landing on a sloping rock :(

Tanks for your comments! Yes the fire tower lookouts are good to visit, especially if the guy is there to let you have access. There are a few spread across Tasmania, I've only visited a couple. Chris Haugen has some good free music on UA-cam. It's hard to find nice music that isn't synthetic electronic stuff, but you've chosen a few good ones too! Hope you have a good ride in the smoky Mts. I don't realise the range on those drones until it returns to the lookout were I assume you are standing close by.
How odd to see sand up there.🤔

They have a long range, several km if in line of sight. Yes I don't know how all the sand got there, interesting

Yeah, I recovered it. Two burnt out motors. I'm going to try fix it when I get time. It may yet fly again 🤔

Hi Annie, thanks for your comments. Yes the weather has been amazing. I went out riding yesterday from about 8am to 4pm, another nice sunny day. Saw 2 deer, 3 wombats, 1 wedge tail eagle & heaps of wallabies. You've got a good bike for off-roading
