How cute to capture that bumblebee in flight. Nice.... That Tiger snake certainly didn't seem troubled by your presence, I haven't seen one this season in southern Tas, which is surprising. The trouble, and correct right if I'm wrong, is with that selective logging, which appears to be the case where you rode through, there is no protection from the wind from other trees like it would be the case in a forested area. Thanks for sharing your video and as always, I enjoy watching you explore the top of our state. Cheers Darrel

Yes, I’m home and busy organising shipping my bike to NZ for the Burt Munro Festival next Feb. have been out on the bike inbetween windy and rainy days. Looking forward to more of your videos. Have you ever watched any of Joe Ryan’s videos? Epic!!! Cheers, Annie 🐧

Great to see you back with the videos. My word haven't we had some shocking weather here in Tassie recently. Down south has been just as bad. I suspect the RtB Route will have trees across it😩 Nice to see the wildlife in your videos and capturing the Kookaburras singing. I like the way you point out where you are on the map, nice addition. 👌 I think I can recall you filming yourself with other riders crossing Buffalo Brook in another episode. Darrel RtB

Thanks Darrell, yes since we got back to TAS at the start of the month it seems like the wind has hardly stopped but we missed the extreme wind that knocked over Al these trees. There's no doubt the RTB route will have trees across it! It's been a bonus to see the wombats, very unusual to see so many in one day. Yes I did video crossing Buffalo Brook previously, it's a nice area. Cheers, Greg XT

Hi there, sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you but I've been away again. I've provided a summary in the comments section of the video. All up I'm carrying around 25kg of gear on a camping trip but about 11kg if this goes on every trip in the bush. The camping stuff (tent, sleeping bag, food, clothes etc) accounts for around 14kg. Hope this helps, Regards

Yes, the heavy bike is much more of a handful to muscle around, and the tyres weren't full off road so a bit slick at times making for interesting outcomes. There are heaps of tracks in that region, this was the first one I've been on

Hi Annie, yes a little challenging. There were a few washouts but not too bad with the right tyres. That last bridge was a concern but we were running out of daylight to find another way out and all were getting tired with a few spills having already happened. We didn't go to the Falls but we had all been there previously and time was a bit short. Regards, XT
