Great, it's a win when the photographer doesn't have to constantly guide the model into poses. You only need to have your finger ready on the trigger, check the composition and wait for the right shot. Great job Peter, awesome model. Bec is beautiful as always.
Many thanks for this new video; the location is amazing, in all senses, accordingly to the Model. @Bec: Many thanks for introducing, filming and closing the session. @Tiziana: Many thank for posing in this session and for sharing. I don’t think I am wrong if I say you have enjoyed it, because you have given yourself fully. I don’t know if you are aware the way you smile steals the session; as I usually say in this cases, don't let anyone nor anything take that smile away from you. I wish you the best. @Peter: I have always thought that high ISO meant bad photo quality, but I see this is not true. I like a lot the way natural light plays in that place, and the deep. It has brought my attention the Model by the curtains.
An interesting peak into the world of modeling and how an artist achieves his work. On a side note, Bec needs to have a big book published with all her best shots. Title: "Bec, My Muse"
If I got it right you said that you had the ISO on automatic? We do that when shooting a live band on stage so that we can keep the f stop we like and speed. with todays digital you can get away with a high ISO. Smashing!
Because my zoom lens ranges between F2 .8 and F4 and I set my aperture to say if 3.5 if I zoom right in so the changes to F4 the CAMERA has a thing called ISO float and adjust between F3.5 and F4 with iso
The one feature all your models have, Peter -- all have such striking eyes :) Yes, Tiziana def has similar look to Adriana Lima. I met Adriana when I lived in Salvador, Brasil -- her hometown -- this was before she was famous.
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer It's funny you say that. I was with a group of people at a night party at someone's house in Praia da Forte, a beach town outside of Salvador, Brasil and I saw this young woman, tall for her age, dancing with her female cousin. They came over to our area after the song and greeted everyone, many being people they already knew. Her eyes dazzled - I had never seen eyes like those except in a few actresses in films and a few models in magazines.
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographerthat's surprising. I would have thought fashion would prefer no distractions. Interesting to hear they prefer more environmental
Nice shoot and Great Model, I love her exotic face and facial expressions. and I love all her different wardrobes. right up my alley. personally with the way she was posing I would've taken less head shots and allot more full body shots or at least half of her body. because her poses were really worth capturing. and most of them got waisted from my point of view because of shooting from the shoulders up. even though you got some nice head shots. but for me when a model like her is wearing thy hi stockings and is so good at posting it's almost a crime not to be photographing all of her. If she ever visits Thailand I would love to shoot with her. I have an extra condo with an ocean view I would let her stay in for a few days for free if she gave me a little of her time to shoot a few of her cool looks. and I know she would be very happy with the images she got from it. ( I've been using mostly primes for a while now. but recently I was thinking I want to use a zoom again ) so I enjoyed the video. happy shooting.
How do you find shooting with her moving all the time? To me that would be really challenging to deal with in terms of shutter speed but also getting her to go back to a shot/position I like to tweak it.
Peter, that slow shutter like at 4:34, that somehow only happens on Leica SL cameras for me. No Nikon, Fuji, Sony ... ever did that. Have you noticed it? Do you know what it is?
Slightly strange.. as soon as you stop shooting, the model shows personality, as soon as you start shooting, she is doing her weird posing and shuts off personality.
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer Too bad, she is really a beautiful model:-).. I am not your level photographer, but I have experienced the same. «No do not want duck face» and just waaaaait for it and after 30 seconds, duck face is back😂.. so yes it is very difficult to reset bad habits. You managed to get som really nice photos anyway..

Thanks
Great model Peter, love her look. Nice GoPro setup/POV and it good to remind people what is possible with a zoom. Congrats!
Thanks 👍
Love watching you work with the natural light of the room and wow amazing model she hits her poses just effortlessly. Well done Peter👍🏻📷

Beautiful work! Having a model 'drift' makes the shots look very natural.

Thanks heaps, yes we are planning to do a book
The model has a very strong strikingly beautiful face. Love the B&W shots.
We agree!
Can't beat natural light...from my little experience with photography, natural light has always been more agreeable. 📸

Ooo Insta360 Ace Pro representing! I mount the X4 on my rig for my pov...makes some interesting angles lol.

Wonderful work. Have you ever addressed what o do with busy/complex backgrounds ?
Thanks so much. If I don't like the background I shoot with a shallow depth of field
also fashion love backgrounds

I ask my models to keep moving, telling them to hold kills the moment, and I find they usually go back to similar poses
Welcome to Belgium; and Brussels. I have my studio here and live in Brussels. Hope you have fun; if you need anything let me know.

I was shooting at 1/15 of a second on purpose to get motion blur on the clothes, I do this all the time when shooting fashion shots
Bec, what brand / frame name are those glasses you wearing at the start of the vid
thanks

Peter, the algorithm moved you away. Great seeing your work again. Don't forget the tech speak, it's highly instructional.
wondering why most model photographers who photograph models in black and white, do not use monochrome cameras
With monochrome cameras you only have one look the Leica B&W and the Phase One B&W, shooting colour I have 1,000's of looks including my own
Remarkable how the pictures have more expression than Reality. I like models with more radiation (Bec or Sophia Gray for example).
Slightly strange.. as soon as you stop shooting, the model shows personality, as soon as you start shooting, she is doing her weird posing and shuts off personality.
Yes I agree but I only get to shoot her for 2 hours every 2 years and her bad habits have come from local photographers

Yep, I thought the posing was weird too.
What's her ancestry?
Neanderthal.
