As a bass player and i listened both cars with my behringer BH770 headset and Steinberg UR-12 audio interface. I can clearly say M20 has way more warmer and smooth idle sound. That m20 has more bass than my bass guitar lol :D
You can have more power and efficiency in the M50 but nothing will ever beat the M20 sound......

The exaust from the M20 makes the engine sound more clearer than the M50. I'm more familiar with the M20 in the E30 and the M50.

m50 is the best engine it's impossible to break an m50
M20 goes clackclackclack and the M50 doesn’t. We have a clear winner and it’s the M20.
