For anyone looking for the pmp exam cheat sheet, read this!!! I started studying for my exam at the beginning of May 2023. I tried to read every note, watch every video to get the concepts and nothing was working. My exam was 6/9 and a week before the exam I took several practice exams and basically failed them all (I’m talking 48% and below). I was distraught and was on the verge of rescheduling til I found David’s videos. I watched about two hours of the agile and 1.5 of the pmbok 7 and it wasn’t till these videos that everything made sense. I will scream from the mountain tops that David is the reason why I passed today (6/9) with AT on all sections!! I can’t thank him enough!

Just came back to this video and I passed my PMP!!! got AT/AT/AT all thanks to David!! Anyone wondering how much effort/time it takes to pass I would suggest the following: Watch all three of Davids videos (100/150/200) questions, followed by PMI Study Hall basic and that should be enough to learn all the concepts (not just memorize for the test). I did this in about 2 weeks and was able to grasp the concepts and pass the exam. Thank you David, you have been instrumental in my success. I wish nothing but great things for you!!!!

I got AT, AT, and T in my exam. All these videos helped me get in the mindset of an effective PM! I would advise everyone to watch those 3 videos and to go through and try to answer every question (pause to answer them before David does ) Just to confirm that you get it. After watching 1-2 hours of these repetitive questions, it will start to click, I promise. If I can do it, you certainly can! Thank you David for putting this together. This video and the waterfall 100 and PMBOK7 150 video question banks helped me immensely to clear my PMP exam with 3ATs. My tips for all working towards clearing the PMP (especially if you don’t have much initial idea on Agile / Project Management concepts) would be this -
    1. Get your fundamentals right (very important - take your time here)
    2. Do at least 5 mocks (rather than aiming for high score - work on building the mental endurance required for sitting long hours, and use the mocks to understand what are your strong and weak areas and work diligently towards the development areas, by reviewing the topic multiple times and trying to mindfully use your learning when a similar question appears next time).
    3. Watch David’s question bank videos for the exam question approach and mindset!
You are guaranteed a high chance of success!
Thank you David for the amazing work that you have put together for these videos! Forever thankful!

I only watched your videos in the final stage (last week) of studies and really, they were fundamental in unlocking the understanding of the best answer.
I did it in Brazil and I didn't have any problems with Pearson Vue (many complaints). I had no contact with Proctor and all the process go well.
The only caveat is that I reviewed all the questions in English and, in my opinion, the translation into Portuguese leaves something to be desired at several points, including impacting the understanding of the alternatives (example: "report/relatar" is not the best translation for escalate). I wish you success!

I was preparing on and off couple of times, but felt completely not ready, when had taken practice tests. The reading of PMBOK book always puts you in hibernating state. It was you who encouraged every time that I can pass and it really works even though you don't know me. I was able to pass my exam yesterday with above target results in all domains. Your 3 videos on Agile, Waterfall and PMBOK tests are absolute treasure. There wasn't a single same question in the exam, but your explanation helped to get the principles, and technique of removing the wrong answer helped really big. Even your pace of review helped, as the biggest challenge was to keep up with the time. With hours of practice with your videos, I was able to learn the correct pace. Or was it because I watched at 1.5 speed? maybe. All in all thank you for your help! I'm a mother of four and have a full-time job, so I didn't have much time to dedicate to studying. Whenever I tried to study by reading, I would fall asleep, but this series of videos (Agile, Waterfall, and PMBOK 7 Questions and Answers) was the best resource I found. I only took one full practice exam on the PMI simulator and didn't do well (57%). I reviewed my mistakes and took notes, so that practice exam and David's videos (questions and answers - agile, waterfall and PMBOK 7) were my only practice, and I got 2AT and 1T on my exam today. I took the PMP exam and got certified yesterday. I dearly want to thank you for putting this video together. Honestly, this is all I needed to understand agile methodologies and grasp the mindset(maybe my professional experience helped as well)
Your presentation is engaging. You explain each question and every given choice of answers. You motivate the viewer after every 10 questions. It’s rare to find such content.
Again, thank you for this amazing learning opportunity!!
Me and my certification grateful to you !!

PASSED! Just yesterday, I received the results and passed! David's videos were essential in preparing for the exam. I would say that I passed because I took the time to watch all of David's videos. Each and every question that David went over not only elaborated on the right answers but also why the others weren't. The examples provided throughout his videos allowed me to understand that the PMP test is ultimately a mindset you must use to answer the questions. Thank you so much, David!

David, I just passed my PMI-ACP. The gap in my knowledge that you filled was learning how to reason through the many, if not majority questions, in which there are two plausibly correct answers. In the initial practice exams I took, I stubbornly insisted to myself that there were equally good arguments for both of the remaining two answers. I was wrong, and this video absolutely taught me how to reason through the questions and helped me to pass. Cheers, and I love your positive energy, which I normally would find saccharine, but you pull it off! Thank you!

Your response and reasoning approach to the questions builds confidence to the test taker. @@unofficialname2724 I made certain that I understood the agile manifesto and how the 12 agile principles are integrated into the manifesto. Also have a deep understanding of the scrum methodology as a baseline and know the differences between the other leading agile frameworks such as kanban, XP etc. Then watch some UA-cam videos on these frameworks to supplement your understanding of David's responses. All PMI-ACP questions relate to the agile manifesto and principles and while answering the exam questions, you can quickly eliminate responses that aren't aligned to the agile manifesto or the 12 principles.

Hi Paul, I’m currently watching David’s video and preparing to take my PMP exam by end of May. Are the questions in the exam written kind of similar like David’s? I also just recently watched Ricardo Vargas video regarding 6th edition and he mentioned that it isn’t really a waterfall approach so it just confused me a little. Any tips to pass my exam first take? Please and thanks in advance!

    • @paulenow3582
      @paulenow3582 2 роки тому

@@theresacassandra Hi, while I cannot speak of specific questions, this is what worked for me and I think it might be helpful to most people for the sole purpose of passing the PMP exam. First, know and memorize all the process groups and knowledge areas. Then, have a good understanding of all the 7 processes across project integration management and the 2 processes within the Initiating process group. You do not need to memorize the remaining processes. When you get to the exam, ensure to write down the table to visualize and relate to the situation based nature of the questions. IT'S VERY IMPORTANT!
Second, read the project risk management knowledge area of the PMBOK guide in its entirety. You do not need to read the entire PMBOK guide for the purpose of sitting for the exam though I'd recommend it as a good knowledge base for becoming a successful project manager.
Third, purchase (about $99) and go through the PMI PMP practice questions (262 practice questions).
Fourth, watch David's 200 Agile PMP questions.
Fifth, watch the Praizion Agile video on UA-cam. This will help you understand David's explanation of the responses. Remember, over 40% of the questions are Agile related and know the Scrum framework as a baseline for answering Agile related question.
      Sixth, watch David's video again.
I recommend taking the exam at a test site as you will not be allowed a blank piece of paper to complete step one, if taking the exam from home.
