    Great video keep up the good work, my 2009 Acura TSX 2.4 just hit 200,000 owned for 8 years I always used Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Oil, best cars ever I would rated 5 out 5. Have a bless day!

    Thanks so much for this quick and informative video. I have same yr and model that just popped a code for cylinder 3 misfire. Turned out to be a spark plug issue. As I'm a young lady who's inqusitive and handy enough to do this myself, I truly appreciate videos like this! Thx!! 😊

    For anyone who's still wondering I went through it and the first two bolts will be 10mm bolts, the spark plugs are more easily removed by using 16mm with Rachet till you can use your own hand with the extended torque and 16mm attached to unscrew then use the socket from the spark plug and use it to connect the loosened spark plug and pull it out.

    Nice--just what I was looking for. Dealership just quoted me $390 to do this work.
    I liked the sparkplug lesson as well--still remember this from wrenching with Dad!

    Thanks for the video. I went ahead and changed mine at 50k. They looked a little scorched but nothing really bad but I had sort of a rough idle and I wasn't getting the fuel economy I thought I should be. Hope this does the trick.

    My car is doing a little sputtering around 1,600-2,000 rpms every now and then. Could that be a spark plug issue?

    How long does the coils last for ? ....

    • @HowtoAutomotive
      @HowtoAutomotive  7 років тому +5

      Edgardo Amado that's a tough one to answer. I seen these coils go out as early as 10,000 miles and I've seen them with 250,000 miles and still work just fine.

    I'm coming up for the A14 service in a few, so anti seize on the threads is not recommended or is it based on if the old spark plug had some on the threads?

      joker90029 Honda /Acura did not put and I see on the air plugs from the factory so I would recommend leaving it off.

    is it advisable to use dielectric grease in the spark plug boot? or is there no need?

    • @HowtoAutomotive
      @HowtoAutomotive  4 роки тому +2

      tubedude92 It is a good idea to use it. A lot of the boots or wires come with it already in there. You don’t wanna use too much though.

    • @HowtoAutomotive

      Danny C. The firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6. The bank closest to the firewall is 1-2-3 and the bank closest to the radiator is 4-5-6 The number ones is on the passenger side of vehicle rear cylinder head
