Hi there. Oh yeah it's quite a nice mellow music track on this one. There aren't many decent tracks in the UA-cam library but this one is good. Yeah the Holiday Buggy re-release on the DT-02 is a nice kit. Not as scale as it was on the original chassis but the performance is much better. Hi Pete, wow your HB goes like stink with that brushless setup! Super cool footage you got right there with a great mix of dirt, grass and sand. The terrain under the trees looks exactly the same as we have up here at my local park, must be the same trees! You saw it in my HB video. Anyway, I wish I had access to the sand, that makes for fun driving and great video with the roosters kicking from the rear tyres! Hiya matey. Yeah this thing definitely handles the brushless set a lot better than the Hornet and some of the others. That area under the trees wasn't the best for this as it is pretty low to the ground and it only takes a large pine cone for it to get stuck. Much better on sand and grass. I did go down to the beach to do the video there but far too busy so just a bit in the dunes and the rest at the golf course. Anyway yes a lovely weekend here. Just been for a walk by the sea and a couple of pints in the pub. Hope you are having a good one too mate. Best wishes 😁

Great action vid Pete! I think a lot of enthusiast were disappointed when the Holiday buggy was rere as it was nothing like the original under the body but the Holiday buggy 2010 has become a classic in its own right now! My HB is one of my favourite runners! Fantastic stuff mate😉👍
Yeah I was among those Tamiya fans of a certain age who thought that they should have made a chassis with the same proportions as the old one. All that said though this is a great runner with nice handling so I'll let them off. A modern classic as you say. Many thanks indeed for your comments 😀
My thoughts exactly. At least with the wheels painted grey and the front shocks no longer sticking up thru the bonnet it’s starting to look like the original. If there was just a way to recess those front wheels back into the wheel arches then bingo.
@@brickmissing8295 yes indeed. Since making the video I have reduced the track of the front wheels. I'll make a video about it sometime but basically it involves cutting down the suspension arms and making new holes. They are still only half under the arches but it matches how the rear wheels are. Does look better 😀

Oh, nice one as always, Pete! I'll be building a DT-02 later this year, I'm really looking forward to it, although it'll just be with the Torque Tuned motor at first, I want to learn to drive it first, then I might go faster. Have a great rest of the Easter there!

That’s looks like great fun. Have you done anything to strengthen the HB body? Ive just broken my second one at the bottom of the windscreen frame where the thin plastic pillars meet the main body. I have yet another new body and I think I’ll try using Sugru to beef this area up a little.
Hi there. I've not done a strengthening thing on this one but I did on the one I had before the fire. It's hard to describe but I had long screws going through the driver cockpit plate and up into the roof lights which I'd filled with Abro Steel. Basically the screws act as a roll cage It's difficult to explain but if I do it to this one I'll be sure to makes a video about it. If you look at the old video I did of the Holiday Buggy you can see the screws going through in front of the driver. I don't know if Sugru will stick very well to this. Really this needs a proper roll cage but my metalwork skills aren't up to it. Many thanks for your comments 😁
