Very nice my friend. I like the SON UVA DIGGER body. I truly is a work of art. You did a magnificent job capturing the action. I really dig the location and soft grass and sand. I think your right about the front bumper transferring back to the chassis.
Hi there. Yeah Losi did a great job of recreating these Monster Jam trucks. Oh yes the golf course is a great place for the RC cars and trucks. Just need to avoid the annoying people playing golf 🤣 I have since put the carbon plates in at the front but I've done it so that the metal plates are still there too so hopefully it won't bend again. Many thanks indeed for watching 😁👍
Fun video Pete, Monster attacks are the most fun! I was worried when you put that robust bumper on, it would benefit for a flexible bumper but I imagine the weight of this truck brings a challenge for that option unlike the Lunchbox.
Hiya Damian. Well Arrma manage to make bumpers that flex a bit but cope with the crashes of quite a heavy truck. I'm surprised that nobody has made a plastic after market one for these. I think that a lunchbox one would be a bit tiny on it 🤔 Cheers for watching mate. Best wishes 😁👍
That is one hell of a good looking monster truck, and definitely cheaper than a heavily upgraded Clod Buster, I should know, I spent a small fortune on mine!!
Yeah I did drive a friends stock Clod and it's fun but as you say you could spend an awful lot on upgrades. The LMT does seem to be a well made piece of kit. Many thanks indeed for your great feedback. Much appreciated 😁👍
@@RCBirds Yeah I'm happy with this and it is a bit like a big lunchbox but nothing will ever be so iconic 😁 Many thanks indeed for your great comments 😁👍👍
Hiya Fil. Yeah I'm trying to tread that fine line between having fun with this but not beating it up too badly. It is a lovely bit of kit. Cheers for watching mate 😁👍
Oh yeah I have since ordered the Treal servo saver so will see how that goes. Otherwise great fun. Many thanks for watching and hope you enjoy yours 👍👍
Hiya Craig. Yeah I do like the way that they've done such a nice scale replica at the same time as making a high performance RC. It is indeed fun to drive. Cheers for watching mate 😁👍👍
Yes this is right up my street and does indeed suit me 😁 Oh yeah well they put a fence around the wood chip pile for years which spoilt all the fun but I noticed earlier this year that they had taken the fence away so hoorah! Many thanks indeed for your great feedback. Much appreciated 😁👍
Blimey Pete, that's one hell of a monster truck, I can see why you wanted one! And as you say, it does seem value for money considering what you get. Pity about the bent chassis plates but I suppose that's because metal is very rigid until you apply so much force it's gonna bend! I hope those carbon fibre parts do the trick. Anyway, it was awesome to see you thrash the pants off your new truck, looks like a ton of fun and that's what counts! Cheers mate! 🍻😎🦫👍
@@MarkBryanRC Hiya mate. Yeah I've got quite a few Arrma bashers and they are brilliant but what this has is that slightly ungainly handling of a monster truck which is a slight challenge to drive and a load of fun. Be good if somebody did a flexible plastic bumper for this but that metal one seems to be the only one available. I'm thinking that I might be able to use the carbon chassis plates and the metal ones together and that should be super strong. Cheers for watching mate and enjoy the rest of Sunday 😁👍👍
Hiya. Yeah this is perfect for hooning around on the golf course and driving up the wood chip pile. Cheers for watching and your great comments. Best wishes 😁👍
Hi, I saw you in the park today with this. we should meet up for a race in the spring when my friend is back from Mexico. We have a really good track with set up on the other side of the park.
It’s definitely worth the money if you consider how much $ is a stock tamiya clodbuster,I went down that rabbit hole of upgrading a clodbuster and have tons of money invested in it and it’s nowhere near a lmt platform, that’s definitely my next buy
@@L.U.C.K.Y333 oh yeah I did drive my friends Clodbuster and it is fun but not really high performance and like you say you could pour a load of cash into one or you could get an LMT which hopefully only needs a few bits sorting. Many thanks for your great feedback 😁👍👍
Hi Pete, oh I don’t know, you’ve only had it 5 minutes and broke it 😂😊😂 you can just hear that being said, when you were younger 😂😂(well I did anyway 😂😂) it’s a nice looking RC for sure, I do love the body graphics, I can see why you chose that one. They are expensive machines though 😊😊 looking forward to seeing how the carbon composite chassis members look and perform, perhaps better than the current (em bent chassis) 😂😊😂 looked great fun 😊😊best wishes to you and the family 🖐️😉😎
Hiya John. Oh yeah I'm sure my parents did say something similar to that when I broke things as a child 😬 Yes it's quite expensive but it is quite a machine and doesn't need too much upgrading beyond some strength things. I will try not to break it any further 🤔 Cheers for watching mate. Best wishes to you and yours 😁👍
Very nice, these look like a ton of fun! The big question is did the wife make you sleep on the couch when she came home or not? LOL! Sucks that the chassis bent over so badly but hopefully the carbon plates hold up better. I enjoyed watching it bash and tumble around out there. Take care and have a great week!
Hiya Addam. I did actually explain to my wife that I'd been saving for this but I did wait till she went away before I ordered it 🤣 Yeah hopefully the upgrade parts will sort out that weakness in the chassis. It's defo a fun one. Cheers for watching mate. Best wishes 😁👍
Hey there Pete , Thanks for another great video there buddy and congratulations on the new truck , Ive always love the look of these but never got around to pulling the plug on one . very good looking and your right awesome that it looks just like the real thing . Shame that the chassis warped the way it did . despite the price on them they look like hours of fun . what servo you putting in the truck buddy ? Chris :)
Hiya Chris. Yeah this is the most expensive RC I've bought and so too me a while to get round to it. I think that the Armma 3s and 4s cars are better bashers but there is something very fun about this. I'm going to try one of the JX Ecoboost servos in it. I think I have a 35kg one somewhere. Many thanks indeed for watching mate. Best wishes 😁👍
oh also make some limiting straps , the shocks rods seperate if you dont . . . . . AWESOME TRUCKS THO , i use mine on Southsea beach on 3s , 75% power is enough !!!
I was going to tell you to drop this bumper before you bend the chassi, but unfortunatly it happened to you as well. It looks very cool but bend 100% of every chassi. Mine too and I'm not a basher. I bought a carbon fiber chassi as replacement
Ah yeah I did wonder about such a rigid bumper. It's a shame that nobody does a springy plastic one. Could do with something to protect the body. What I've done since this is to get the carbon plates for the front but I've put them on with the original metal ones too. I had to mod a few things so both plates fitted. So far so good with it. Many thanks indeed for your great feedback 😁👍
My first real rc vehicle was the original Super Blackfoot, from Tamiya. Aside from cracking the styrene body lengthwise on an early run, my fault cause I didn't know the mound I was jumping off had a deep pit behind it, 2 story drop.😢 Other than that it was nigh indestructible, plastic ladder frame, large front bumper. I did later upgrade motor, esc, tires, oil shocks, and titanium turnbuckle links.😅
Oh yeah the Super Blackfoot had some nice upgrades over the original. The hard plastic Tamiya bodies always looked great but were never really designed for hard bashing. Good to have some Tamiya's for retro fun and modern ones for knocking around. Many thanks indeed for your great comments 😁👍👍
My LMT is easily the worst RC i own. It's not fast or really quick. It handles terrible and it breaks if you look at it mean. It's one of my favorite to own but least favorite to drive. There's just something about it sitting on the shelf that makes me happy. I got mine on sale for $459 which makes it a lot easier to live with its issues.
