1. West pier lighthouse. 2. Seaman’s hospital church street, 3. Sand side cottages from TateHill Sands, 4. Bell tower of town hall market place. Inscription on town hall, 6. 2. this ship is on the top of the old seaman's hospital on church street and 14. is below the ship. apart from 10. being above holland and barrett the only other one i can place is the mary linskill plaque because you featured that in your previous video when you went to the abbey via a path and steps that ran between the blitz and abbey jet.
Well its awesome that you remembered where the Linskill plack was, it shows you were actually watching :)Also your right about the shamans hospital 2 :) Nice work.
@@thewhitbyphotographer i also remember seeing the dora walker plaque - night owls uk went past it on a visit once. they went through a tunnel they called bodge's hole, then down some steps and turned right. it was on a cottage just after the turn. they came out (eventually) where pier road becomes haggersgate.
@@thewhitbyphotographer 4. the bell is on cliff street, towards the end where it meets khyber pass? i don't live in whitby so don't know many of the street names.
talk about hiding in plain sight! i've just spotted the sunflower on the little building on the left of the swing bridge as you go over towards holland and barrett. also, caedmon cottages is on church street on the right hand side towards the duke of york in the corner. i wasn't even looking for them... does the plaque with the 1710 date have something to do with the east pier? i haven't seen it yet. this is quite good fun!
3 the cottages right on Tate hill beach, 5 market place monument, 8 Alice in wonderland behind £1 shop?, 10 Holland and Barrett. I do recognise most of these but can’t put my finger on them 🥴 good job!
Well you got number 3 right. I thought that would have been amongst the toughest. 5. Is correct. 8 is wrong (its nearer the river). 10 Correct :) Good effort :)
We’re only in Guisborough but stay at Whitby every new year. Last year we stayed in the cottage next to the one with the mannequins in the window which were rather unnerving at night! Love your posts ❤️
