sigh. always amazing when companies axe the one element of their product that made it good and stand out. now it's just another video chat app with an account and i have no reason to use it.
I have been trying to use jitsi meet and the video is pixialted audio is bad and latency is bad. I asked on the forum about this and no one has been able to give me a clear answer why I have this problem. I am connected via ethernet cable, speed is download 78mbps upload 11mbps. zoom always worked fine. What am I missing? able
We are going to need more software and app creators that make apps like the old jitsi and stuff that's private and secure. And this is for everything, not just private anonymous video calls, but everything. The need for people who create these things is already so crucial and becoming more important as time goes by. They are desperately needed.

they could add a regular email sign in and people could use email aliases

I've been using Zoom but it has never been really good (and getting worse).; so I am trying to learn Jitsi.
Let's stop behaving like social media owns us and drop all the platforms that make fools of its users.
