- Sausalito is a city in Marin County, California, located 8 miles (13 km) south-southeast of San Rafael and 4 miles (7 km) north of San Francisco. Sausalito's population was 7,061 as of the 2010 census. The community is situated near the northern end of the Golden Gate Bridge, and prior to the building of that bridge served as a terminus for rail, car, and ferry traffic.

It is amazing how charming, peaceful and beautiful Sausalito is... crossing the bridge of a SHT HOLE of a city like San Francisco is right now.

I grew up at Mount Saint Joseph’s Roman Catholic Orphan Asylum in SF and would take the ferry here any chance I got. My dream was always to have a KimiKitsch art and vegan cafe/bookstore here one day. Swoon!

Lovely! I haven't seen Sausalito since moving away in 2018, so it's nice to get this high-res view, and on such a lovely day! The only thing I would have done differently in this video would be to take in Caledonia Street when you looped back around.

In some places blinkers and red lights are more like guidelines, you know optional💩😊

Yeah this part of California has the dirtiest waters.

If you are taking about when I turned right, then I can do that when there are no cars.
