    Your drumsticks is the huge one, if I am not wrong, it is almost 1 kg as I love to buy it when I was in Paris, visiting my daughter. I can't find it in Penang, once I saw selling in Tesco frozen section before Christmas, but after Christmas, no more selling any more.
    I wonder why your Otah has no Wild Betel Leaf ? My late mom made and I also making it now. Steam like yours but we sliced some Wild Betel Leaf, line the plate and then add in some to the paste, but we use fish slices instead of minced fish meat. We added in some fish curry powder to the paste. Ask your mom to try it, I am sure you all will like it.

    Thx for sharing. I like your otak-otak recipe but too much work involved. I buy ready made otak-otak which are easily available. 小葱头 are shallots n your son's interpretation of little red onions so cute. Your assistant is jovial n impatient. Surprisingly your son speaks Teochew dialect. Nowadays youngsters can't speak their own dialect.
