You can't just mod a title to add Ray Tracing. Ray Tracing is a DirectX 12 feature so it has to be added on a very deep level using the Engine it was developed on. I think what the mods are doing is adding better PBR texture with optimized normal and height maps, creating more realistic mesh.

ONe of the great part of the game was the soundtrack. It's too bad we have to deal with copyright strikes on UA-cam.
the Only issue i have is it seems all of the paint on all of the cars are this metal like texture. you still want to have a glossy look option too.
When I played this I was a stupid kid who barely realized realtime reflections existed. Now I see the architecture and uneven roads would make this city hell IRL.
Looks just like the cutscenes now.
I would burn the whole Earth to see this on the burnout saga just to know how good it could be
I've always wondered why you feel speed in this game but in all the other new versions not.
SUPER good lighting so far, unfortunately stuff like this will have to be compromised if you want to be officially endorsed by NVIDIA (remove copyrighted aspects of assets being replaced) so games like the NFS series will be a little bit of an extra hassle. I can't wait to see new meshes of the cars and tracks
looks like lego
I can't really put my finger on it but somehow the roof always reflects some light source , global illumination sphere probably ? yeah and would like to see how the cars look with neon lights on em
I swear it looked exactly the same as when i was a kid 😅
it's not bad, but the shadows are definitely underwhelming and it lets the nice textures down a lot
they need to just remaster the game at this point. People want a real authentic feel of Fast n Furious.
this looks beautiful
I'm not really a modder. Could you make quick tutorial in the future? I would appreciate it.

@@pulstr_12 I know but I usually make some mistakes when modding games, so video tutorials are always better for me
