Yes, you are absolutley right about Alamo Heights.
Extremely safe neighborhood. You can walk without worrying about crime which is very low if any.
Police and EMS services excellent and fast redponse.
Best school district. Great neighbors.
SA International Airport 8 to 10 minutes away.
Good restaurants.
Close to Downton.
Wonderful safe area to live.

Older area but I recently purchased 2 acres with a beautiful home. Very nice neighborhood. Now where else can you get 2 acres in San Antonio?

I always hear people talk about Stone Oak but what about the Timberwood Park area? I’d love to hear more of that area.

It is a beautiful area and has a more rural feel to it. There are typically bigger lots with lots of trees and it is not uncommon to drive through there and see deer resting or eating in people's lawns. I have some savings for at least 10% down payment but I am moving back to USA from Brazil after two years in Brazil. Can you explain how can I move on a fast lane to a good credit and get myself my dream home? I love your videos, my wife too....
The best advice for this would likely be from a mortgage lender. I can connect you with some that I trust and work with regularly. Another option would be seller financing if you have some funds for a down payment.
What are your thoughts on the medical center area?
There are lots of housing options in this area and it is also close to a lot of major employers, not only healthcare but also USAA, Valero, UTSA and others.
Medical center area is a good area. Some stellar subdivisions in the area as you can imagine wealthy doctors like to live close to their job. Also close to USAA. Lots of apartments to choose from as well.

How is the Vance Jackson area?
Vance Jackson inside Loop 410 (the inner loop) is more commercial. Outside Loop 410, it is more residential. Feel r free to text or call if you have more questions I can answer.

Very commercial In some areas. Not very safe.
Is there a particular area that you would recommend for an apartment rental?
It all depends on what you're looking for.... are you looking for an area with walkablility, do you have a set commute you need to worry about etc.
@@LivinginSanAntonio I work from home, so I can live anywhere......safety is my #1 criteria.....my #2 criteria is being reasonably close to a Trader Joes, Natural Grocers & a Sprouts...I had my eye on an apartment in the medical district, but I am concerned about the crime level in that area.....when I do a google search, it seems there have been a lot of shootings, etc in the medical district the last few years......
@@Nicole-zv7ee I’m not sure about the shootings but the medical center is a nice area, I work there, but also look into places like leon valley or the quarter of the city between 281 and hwy 90, like hwy 151 area, those are fairly nice areas with some apartments (151 has new and old ones but they might be a bit pricey)
What is the rent in Helotes for apartments?
Everywhere South of downtown in San Antonio is very nice if you own a gun.
