I do the same exact thing and it is so cool to see that I am doing the right thing thank you for this video. I did something very similar to my hair and applied that mud-looking application and it is very true that it makes your hair feel soft and healthy. I do this once a month and it makes a difference in my hair.
I usually use neem, fenugreek, moringa, and amla but I was only able to get two out of these in the market, so I used them yesterday as it was my wash day and because of constantly washing and using a comb to be able to remove all residue which has always been a problem, my scalp is hurting and because of that I couldn't go in with using my leave-in conditioner. This is one of the reasons I stopped using Ayurvedic herbs for months now and just resumed yesterday. Because of the pain and the long hours that come with using it, I am not sure I will be using it again until I can source from a better place where I don't have to worry about residue. I will be getting my scalp massage, detangling comb, and hair clip soon, it is a must-have for me. I love how far your hair has gone. I remember when you started and I am glad the growth is evident. 🎉❤
@@Thatgurl thank you for this, but won't that be a lot, since I already have herbs like rosemary, hibiscus, and cloves (optional some times) that I use for my final rinse?
I love ayurvedic hair mask...i mostly apply it after washing with black soap shampoo. I used avocado as the base then added neem oil, castor oil ,moringa oil, olive oil alma and henna powder. Vit E oil peppermint essential oil. Honey as humectant....according to me it makes my hair stronger. Only thing with this mask I didnt strain it with cheese cloth or sift so pieces were left in my hair even after washing it out. I made comment before watching the rest of the video where you said you used a hair brush to remove particles. I try as much as possible not to brush too much once in a while wont do any damage. Next time i will try it out.
Add flaxseed or chia seeds gel to the mask as your base (not just water), and only use finely powdered ingredients, you will be able to use a brush, with no breakage with the mask on your hair as long as you thoroughly detangle your hair beforehand. Add a good amount of oils too. I use the mask as a pre-poo overnight and its great.
Can you please provide the name and/or link of the brushes you use for your hair? I noticed that you used more than 1 brush for your hair. I only have 1 brush. I don't detangle my hair in the shower and i think this is an added step I need to implement into my hair routine too.

Your hair needs more moisture. Add vegetable glycerine to your hair spray water or any liquid spray, and use grease to seal in moisture over the oil or leave the oil out.
Stop worrying about them because they’re a natural part of natural hair and they don’t keep you from retaining length. I had them on short, medium and long hair. I even had them on my bone straight relaxed hair.
Your hair is thriving🎉🎉🎉.
I know it the result of consistency and hard work. RESPECT.
It really is!
I’m definitely team detangle before shampoo
Me too

you can use a wig cap to drain it out so that you have only the juice of it and use it as rinse.
@@Thatgurl that’s a good idea
@@evelynmoses1651 or just stick to making Ayurveda oil

As long as your hair is fully detangled do it under running shower, it’s easy and no breakage
