Brilliant cars I enjoyed this video
Thank you please make sure you subscribe and check some of our other videos 😊
Nice car, it's great to see it in use, not just stuck in a garage.
Thank you Ian for your comment
I had a '68 4 door in Trafalgar blue. A bit special because it had a 1275 midget engine and a 5 speed type 9 Ford gearbox. Wish I still had it but didn't have the space at the time. Now got a '63 Mk1 Mini 😁
The Mk1 Mini sounds great send us a picture we’d love to put it on our community board
Lovely car in beautiful condition 🤩
Thank you for your comment Philip
Awesome, thinking of taking the plunge myself
Yes you should
A pity that I couldn't hear Tina very well whilst in the car, but a very enjoyable, interesting video nevertheless.
Sorry you could hear her so well but glad you enjoyed the video !
My grandpa also had Morris minor car till now and his age over 80 ❤ he is Morris minor lover and I want ask questions could you tell me Top speed of Morris minor ?
Hello , the top speed of a standard Minor 1000 is around 73 mph
Wow nice but can we increase the top speed of minor car by using the same minor engine?
Most people use the mg midget 1275 engine also disc brakes are a good upgrade on the standard drums.
Nice original Morrie Thou!
Thank you
My first classic car, a Minor 1000, should be arriving this Friday. She will be residing under cover on my drive for a bit as she needs a little work, and mechanical updating. I say 'she' because I've been told her name is Maude.
Sounds great where are you based?
@@datbs I'm in Reydon near southward.
Southwold!
@@biscuitbum1482 lovely part of the world shame you’re not closer would like to have featured your first classic 😊
@@datbs Unfortunately there would be nothing much to see. BTW never do an online research into the history of your purchase. Up will come the grizzly details of all the failed MOT's. It appears I might need a bit of welding done: ignorance is bliss!
The Morris Minor 1000 should really be the Minor 1100 as the engine is 1098cc the same as the early Ford Escort, but would get confused with the Austin 1100 and especially the Morris 1100.
Thank you for sharing
I learned to drive in a Morris minor way back in 1964
What do you drive now?
Please don't try to use the starting handle with your thumb wrapped round it. I have a 59 traveller also in regular use.
Thank you for the advice 😊
Mm of UK was quite inferior to its contemporary vw and Toyota. That's why company manufacturing it could not compete even within UK.
LMFHO.
If it wasn't for BMC the Jap car industry wouldn't exist.
