Have you ever grinded down the groove where the cam pin locks ? I see a lot of people having the benneli click. and was just wondering if you grinded it down onn yours.
Yes mine came the exact same when and when I googled other pictures Franchi had pictures with it facing both ways what way did you end up putting back ?
My guess is, the cam pin (one with arrow/line) has a line so you can easily tell where the hole is for the firing pin, without actually seeing the firing pin hole. Similar to the rectangular design of the cam pin of an ar15, instead of the square design that Mr. Stoner could have used. Direction doesn't actual matter, it's just to make firing pin installation easier.

My franchi came from the factory with the chrome piece facing the front of the gun
