Hi! I'm an international student from the USA to Czechia, the school I am attending doesn't charge tuition, but I need a student loan to help me cover the cost of travel and living expenses. Student loans in the US only disperse to the schools first and then to the students, but since CERGE-Ei doesn't charge tuition I'm not sure if I can get loans that way. Do you know what an international student should do if they need student loans to cover cost of living but not tuition?

No Quorum is not only for US residents. If you are international, there's a funny code they give you to put in if you don't have a social security number. They also allow you put in your school address or their own address on the form. Let me know if you have other questions

@@cleverjay286 how did you get the link you're applying through? Quorum only works with a limited number of schools so you need to apply through a link dedicated to your school. Here's what you need to do: email quorum and ask if they sponsor your SPECIFIC program/school. If they do, they'll send you a link dedicated to your school. That's where you can apply easily. You can use his statement as proof of funds but not as proof of YOUR earnings. Both kinds of proof will likely be required but depends on the loan provider.

Yes, you usually incur interest from the day the cash is disbursed.

From what I'm seeing on Quorum, it's only for US residents. All the information you're to give on the website must be related to US.
