Welcome to Day 3 of 6 of crossing an entire country with an Electric Unicycle.
During my semester abroad in Taipei I took a week off and explored Taiwan with an electric unicycle. I enjoyed the journey a lot and I am happy to share it. Taiwan is an absolute amazing country to experience great food, scenery and EUC rides :)

Taiwan is not a "country" it is officially part of China.

First of all I disagree. Secondly, chinese citizens need a visa to go to Taiwan. Seems like a country to me🤔 or since when do you need to apply for a visa in your own country...

@@floatypietIt doesn't matter if you agree or not - it is about taking elementary school geography classes...
There is no such country as "Taiwan" on official maps.
Calling Taiwan a country is separatism activity and against the law in China for example.
USA and rest of the modern world are accepting the "one China policy", so should you.
Taiwan, Hong Kong - are LITERALLY China officially.
As for visas - ok, tell me in what country you have founded the Taiwan Embassy to officially apply for a Visa?!!
There is no Official EMBASSY of Taiwan in Europe nor the US as far as I know...
I'm talkin about real Embassy, not some BS like "trade centre" or "Visa centre", or "Representative", EMBASSY, like real country would have.
So, if you are not into geography or politics - that is ok, but don't speak about things that you fail to understand.
Anyone at any time can declare that his backyard is no longer a part of the country it is located in, but it won't make it real country on the map - for that you need legal recognition from other countries of power, and Taiwan yet fails to gain it.

@@familytvbox5218it’s history. Back in the Second World War current government in Taiwan(ROC) was defeated by the current government in mainland China(PRC) and retreated two million army and civilian to an island called Taiwan.
PRC tried to eliminate all the remaining troops of ROC on Taiwan island, but they failed to do so. And they were in stalemate ever since that day.
PRC and ROC are two different governments who fought one another.
It’s a complicated situation here, and unless Taiwanese government declares giving up the national name”ROC” , they are pretty much different county.
