Since its announcement, the Begode master has sparked, un rival curiosity with regard to speed, power, and suspension and the electric Unicycle universe. I recently sold my master version two and acquired version four- as follows are my sentiments.
Thanks to everybody so much for sticking by and supporting my efforts .
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by .

Excellent storytelling and way to put things into perspective. Definitely seems like you hold this wheel in high regard!
Deep respect for your story telling. More of That please
Legit story time, good stuff
Truly Masterful Prose
Really love your narration.....
Thank you !
Johnny your content is always informative and delivered with relaxed ease. I have a V2 Master and really enjoy the light package. I look forward to what's ever next from you. Thanks. 6 pac Gord
Thanks much brother ! It’s way fast for the weight , thanks again
such eloquence, amazing wheel and commentary👍
This was a great video. I love the color grading, the way you stylized it, the voiceover with the history lesson. You really made it different than most of the EUC videos out there, including my own. Even your style of riding was different. Good job. Nicely done.
thank you so so much my friend. it means a lot-
I put a lot of effort into learning and trying to get bettetr
I love how we're going over begode's manufacturing record like it's ancient history lol. This was what, a year and a half ago? Shows how fast this sport is evolving! Great retelling though.
Its moving so so quick!!!
top wheel 😁
yea master v4 is the sleeper... until the arrival of begode et phone home ✌
I cant decide. The ET or the Lynx.
Great video and well thought out narration
Thanks so much brother !!! I hope you’re well!
Word! (and nice ones at that)
have you tryed the Lynx how it is on pair with it by fealing ride?
I still can't let my molicell EX-N go. I don't know what it is but I love that wheel, and with those cells it almost feels like a HT model that can do 50mph and its relatively light.
So a P42a EX-N HS is that peppy huh? I've heard that once or twice before.
@@willlawson6126 absolutely my friend has the standard EX-N hs with samsung 50e cells and it has noticeably more torque/less easy to pedal dip and less voltage sag at higher speeds.
@@jamesm217 interesting! Thank you for the response.
@@willlawson6126 anytime my friend
@@jamesm217did he swap his battery to a 50e cells?
Great Video and information of the development of the master, but do you know if all the v4 has 50s batteries? latterly by accident now I have a Master 4 but there is no information about the batteries it has, I am very happy with the MV4 enjoying every day!
The v4 should all have 50s
Great speech ha ha ha 🎉
The master was a prototype(where the testers were the clients) and should have not been released for sale as most wheels nowadays are doing
V1 Master wner here with a V4 Master on route to me. Nothing rides like a Master... i may change the motor to match my ex30 and extreme, but I will have to wait and see. This field weakening is a game changer.
According to feedback from Begode racers in China, making such modifications may not significantly improve performance, except for straightaways of course where a higher top speed is noticeable. However, using the C40 motor might drastically reduce your range. A friend of mine is using LiPO batteries and is experiencing only 5 miles of range, making it suitable only for local rides or racing.
pants are dope I want a master soooo bad and only. just afraid I'll miss my nimble little wheel plus everyone says this is best for trails I'd mainly be on streets lucky are the people who get to ride the master.
V4 huh? Thanks for that.
Yes sir
You’re welcome -
Hope
All is well in the U-Stride’verse -
Funny story
You taught me how to put on pads in the winter… tights and all.
-
Cheers man.
Hope you are thriving and living your best.
Those pants scream Cosplay! Eloquent and informative narrative though..
Bro thakns!!! My lady got them for me and I am delighted
at how much people love them!!!
How is the water resistance of the v4? Will it burn out in a sudden light rain like its predecessors? Does it have automatic tilt-back safety function?
This thing has more seals and gaskets than the original by far, it seems farr more thought out and all the details are attended to in the electronics , there is no official rating, but this thing is vastly improved,
I had tiltback set to 53 and it worked... aggressively. I can't say i would advise that , because im still testing myself, but ... it worked.. like REALLY WELL
I recently chose the Commander Mini for the smaller, more nimble package.
When i seen the GT Pro and ET Max, i was leaning towards those as my next wheels.....I like my friends Master i tried.
Guess it time to ask myself....do i want the more nimble package of the V4 Master or do I want the range of the 50s Commander Pro?
That's funny. I am about to sell my 50e CPro for a master V4. My rides have used sub 2k wh and I'm planning for a Lynx for my cruises so I'm just gonna use the v4 as a trackable practice wheel.
Is there any solution to dim the lights. They are annoyingly bright
i dont think so my friend
I'm strongly considering this wheel. ewheels has, what i think is V2, but is offering a free upgraded suspension kit, upgraded LiTech battery packs, and metal battery box, essentially making a V4ish build for $2999. Curious about your thoughts.
I think that if you’re looking for an exclusively trail bound wheel, then what the wheels is offering will be a wonderful proposition, but if you were looking for a next generation racing wheel, then this is going to be your only real proposition between the two
I’ll be doing a series of reviews regarding 10 points that I’ve decided will be the rubric of my review format going forward.
I'm looking for a stable cruising wheel that's balanced with nimblenes and decent range. And that's not a massive, heavy pig.
VETERAN LNYX 🤫
@@SAVY_JAX this is that- 💯 , it’s not yet in its final form.

Just wait.
I mounted the blue cobalt handles - Jesus bro.
Wow
Subbed, great story, get a better mic tho, there's some recurring static, you deserve better production
Thanks for the sub! Working on the audio!!!
and mine arrives in a month 🙂
whats the first think you want to do with it??
Charge it @@johnnygovroom 😜
I'm going to add the Grizzla fairing/front/rear bumpers and the pads I'm printing right now. Perhaps replace the tail light with LED strips. That's it 🙂
Do a wheelie" hate to biff on one of those blazing down the street at 40+ & they should have some kind of exo-skeleton to incase the wheel so it doesn't grenade on impacts
I have biffed... and it sucks- some of the wheels have an exoskeleton but we normally just armor them
It's a rad lil zoomer" I've built raced rode about everything on 2 wheels & some on 4" but one " yeah. no" bifferoni" uni"s are hard like skimboarding in your head for contest points when most can't on their feet" yup" but"" if you're rad "" & young" when you made or rubber & bounce back on your feet" not break chit" bmx , freestyle , skimming surfing skating Moto cross, big air" street bikes fast cars" is how I roll" I had amazing balance as a ironworker at one time but now" no" nope" not" go big or go home" team Advil" crusty demon" braaap

lol do these pants have LED strip in them or did you exaggerate the colors?
color grading !!! I literally took forever trying to get the color right to pop like that, is it too much?
is MASTER V4 waterproofed ?
Not rated but it’s like 5x better than the last
@@johnnygovroom good to hear this. This means I can make it 100% waterproof
Chariots of Bottled Flux and Fire!
For the future, traction control will be even more momentous to the EUC Industry as was the revolution of hydraulic/coil suspension. Traction control will enhance mainstream adoption and scalability of production (lower costs).
If you’ve driven a modern BMW, you’ll understand why… traction control improves performance and safety by an
order of magnitude or more.
After traction control and Axial Flux motors, the new major EUC hurdle will be active stability using mass-control gyros, which is old technology that can be applied to future EUCs and should be available in about a decade. {This step will allow EUCs to become safer than motorcycles or cars, especially in gusty winds, mud or black-ice.}
None of this technology is new, it’s all been successfully integrated with satellites, trains, cruise ships, luxury jets and RC aircraft… it’s almost literally like pulling it off the shelf and putting it to work. The only delay is funding R&D. Now that the speed performance envelope exceeds the safety capacity required for emergency maneuvers (at speed) then the pursuit of greater top speed will be unprofitable until supporting technology can be added in future models.
Please make this !!! Develop an euc for us!!! That’s insane if possible , what does it mean axial flux motors?
@@johnnygovroom {tl;dr. what’s your fantasy EUC?}
Axial flux has to do with the orientation of the magnetic field in an electric motor with slightly different design parameters than the more common Radial Flux motor. RF motors are much more common because machines have been developed to wire the coils automatically. AF motors are still hand-wound because of the style, yet the efficiency and weight savings are worthwhile, specifically for EUCs. At 60% or more less weight, this reduces rotational inertia of heavy weight/higher speed designs. Less weight = greater agility, maneuverability and speed carried through all turns. It probably should be developed for MTB and motorcycles within a year or so. Many high-end supercars, whether hybrid or electric, use Axial Flux motors to save weight, save volume and increase torque… at a small price penalty (probably less than the battery upgrade from 50GB to 50S, for comparison.
Gusty crosswinds at highway speeds should be a non-event. Even after the Semi-trucks have been blown over on their sides, riding an EUC in those same blustery conditions should be both safe and the preferred mode of transportation for travel under 100 miles.
I’d imagine that most EUC riders would be willing to move to a different country if their freedoms were curtailed. Once EUCs go mainstream, the development financing will flow and within 10 years from now we should be riding high-performance EUCs capable of delivering seamless stability assistance.
We’ll see Linear motor electronic suspension (not yet in production), yet was developed by Bose Corp 40 years ago. {Linear motors are used to power some hyper-rollercoasters and as an electronic replacement for the steam catapult on aircraft carriers, so no bottom out is ever possible and every bump/drop will have an optimal response, which is impractical for passive shocks.
I’ve got a list of things that I’d love to see in my future EUC, mostly existing technology. And although a self-driving EUC would be interesting to some, all my ideas are necessary to implement on an EUC before self-driving is possible. The most interesting question is which upgrades will promote the desired market growth and which others should be implemented before going mass-market?
Good luck with avoiding the version 2 firmware update for the V14… hope version 3 comes out soon, otherwise stick to version 1 if you can.
