The one thing I’ve always wondered is why people care so much about popularity. The need to know that other people know your name but at the same time can give a shit less who you actually are. Just baffles me.

I realize it's about belonging to a group as in identity and getting validation to belong in said group such as , UA-camr having ppl say great videos cements their identity of that, mostly applies to ppl changing jobs careers or lifestyles
Also some ppl need others to give them their self esteem
I've studied cultures, beliefs, identities, groups ect

Popularity is a kind of power because you might have influence over others. It’s indirect power but still power. That’s why it’s desirable.

#6 I can understand routine without a purpose. Repetitive rituals give some people a sense of stability. I learned from my puppies that each puppy must have a job, a chore, or a ritual to do every day because it gives them a sense of purpose and stability. It can be as simple as, "Speak to get your vitamin pill" or, "show me your toes". Humans are more complicated, but some of them need pointless rituals.

I'm one, but the word I use is "iconoclast." I've been an iconoclast since I was a small child. (I'm 70 now.) I didn't know there was a word for it or even knew it was a thing until college. The kinds of arguments that I would give led to a teacher telling me I was an iconoclast. I had no idea what it meant. I went home, looked it up... "Holy cow!! I AM!! haha')

#8: Money can buy you a certain amount of FREEDOM - NOT ‘HAPPINESS’. #7: Communicate what is NECESSARY not every detail. #6: A plan is great but a little occasional spontaneity breaks up monotony. #5: Quality with PURPOSE gets my cash. #4: Putting on a show for others is not worth my time. #3: Problems won’t go away, putting them off for a better time is O.K. but not too long a time - make a plan. #2: Always get advice when necessary but don’t feel obligated to act on it. Listening to others opinions is a courtesy not their right or your obligation. #1 The past helps you recognize what worked and what did not, learn from it so you don’t repeat the same mistakes or fall into the same traps.

Very interesting. #7 really makes me mad. #6 can be a purpose even though it can be mindless. The Army taught me that. When we do things repeatedly , mindlessly, when SHTF and we just react positively it makes sense. #5 I'm a great shopper but horrible buyer. If I need it, I will get it only if it is sensible & has a purpose. And price will be saved up so I can get it. #3, I flock towards it. I have been have been told that I always take on the hard problems because I like it, like the challenge. It tests me, improves me. And #1 is huge. For me I have been stuck in the past. And it has buried me, incapacitated me. It was only when I said F*** This!, that I've started to "come back", be the silent yet confident person I was again. To the point that I am going after jobs that I know I can do but have been hesitant to go after. The past is just that, the past. Let go or it'll hinder your present and future.

@@matty3221 Conservative politics are based around the beneficial ideas that have lasted for generations, which have contributed to the growth and stability of society. Free speech, the 2nd amendment, the nuclear family. Leftist ideas such as socialism laying the framework for communism and tyranical government, the confiscation of guns (which led to communist regimes and the H0l0c@ust), the destruction of the nuclear family, feminism and the s3xual deviant revolution it has caused, the legalization of g@y marriage, which was a slippery slope to cancel culture, victim mentality, the chemical castration of children, and the gradual acceptance of p3dophilia to children in K-12 public schools, are leftist ideas that objectively destroy society. A sigma male realizes all of this, and understands in depth how leftist ideas are destructive to society. This is why sigmas tend to think more conservatively.

Sigmas don't seek happiness, they seek contentment and personal growth.
If you know their game is rigged, why play their game?
Make up your own game and start winning.

If you want a great job with a Fortune 500 company, you are not a Sigma male.
If you enjoy a minimalist lifestyle, live in an unconventional situation, and shower at the gym after your workout because your place doesn't have water, you might be a Sigma.
If you sail to India and hike from Kathmandu to the second base camp on Everest just for an interesting experience, you are a Sigma.
Ironically, a Fortune 500 company executive would be desperate to hire you if you did sail to India and hike/climb Everest.
