I haven't made these since the 8th grade (1961). My Bff knows how much I love them and she makes them for me for Christmas present. Now that I've seen you make them - I may have to try a batch. Looks easy - but think I will try with my stand mixer and do a double batch. Thanks for the idea.
We put these out for Santa Clause every year with a big glass of milk and he must have loved them so much because they were all gone and not even a crumb left for a mouse 🐭🎅🏻🫶

My mom made these every year for Christmas. They are so special to me. But I believe she used walnuts!

They're my dad's favorite also!! He looks forward to them every year. he eats healthy for the rest of the year..but can't resist them at holiday time.

They are called biscochos. You can also roll them in cinnamon and sugar, and they are equally as delicious. 😊
