I started skating like 2 months ago, started with standard vans laceless vulcs and just got me a pair of these. Can’t wait to try them and see if I prefer cupsole or not

I’ve been skating this shoe for a few days and boy do they feel amazing and I love etnies shoes so to skate my favorite skaters pro model that also just so happens to be great for taking impact is perfect as fuck for me

Christian Flores yea I keep hearing that dude! It’s a well rounded shoe. I met Chris a few times and a buddy of mine rides for grizzly and skates with him. The look could be a bit better I know he is working on a second version of the shoe though! So that should be cool.

Some of us don't get that much money to spend on 80-90 $ shoes , I'm a student but i took me 2 months to gather money for Chris shoes , Would be great if u can review some low cost shoe and tell us what to buy for example 40-60$ shoe or somth like that , what's the best . Anyway great shoe review just want to mention that without toecab is easier for me to flick my tricks.

Mine haven't held up as well as the michelin maranas but the hidden toe cap held up better. No holes yet surprisingly. The stitching came apart in many different spots and the outsole is ripping on both shoes. I feel like they made the outsoles weaker than before. I still highly recommend them.

Kieran Howell i skated them before i broke my ankle, they are fucking druable, skated them 2 months every day and nothing happened, the boardfeel waas a turnoff at first, but you’ll get used to it and the flick is real good

The best review of this Shoes!!! The Marana Michelin doesn't blow out easy like those. I'll stay with the Marana Michelin!
These don't really blow out they easy. It probably took him more than three weeks for the stitching to actually separate.
I am skating these for 3 month now and they still look pretty good
It means the outsole is the same rubber as the michelin tires so its supposed to be super durable

stitching ripped open on the side so i glued them back down and they haven't messed up again. they need to fix that though
it comes from skating with ripped laces, at least for me that was the case.
I just order packs if laces and have em on hand.

I've had a pair of standard Maranas for 2yrs now,
I stopped skating in them every day after a few mths as I just wanted a new shoe, but the soles are still good and still have not gone flat/smooth.
I'm thinking of getting a pair of these now,
as I don't like the velcro bit on the Joslen 2s.
The Velcro strap on the 2's is removable.

Loving mine at the mo, soles last for ages, toes last about as long as most other skate shoes, shoe goo and canvas patches solves that, should last quite a while. Did wear in and become comfy pretty quick.
Regular Marana is better than the XT. I've had 2 pairs of regular and 1 pair of the XT and I can say the XT is definitely less comfortable. As far as I can see this Joslin pro model is based on the regular Marana, nearly identical design, sole is the same, everything is the same so I'm probably going to like it.

These shoes look funny to me, probably because I've had OG Maranas and XTs too.. and the fact that Christian said these break in a little too fast bums me out. Was holding out on whether I oughtta get these or the OG Marana x Michelin, feels like I made the right decision and I'ma get the classics alongside the Michelin collab. Another pair of XTs too if I can get a hold of a Sheckler pair, but not these.
if you want shoes that don't break in, look at the New Balance cupsoles. i had PJ's and by the time I stopped skating them they still felt stiffer than most adidas feel out of the box.
@@geoken2 already have 5 pairs of NB# and nah, I broke 'em all right in. Except maybe the 598s and 868s which took me a few days more than the rest. But the problem with all NB# are the fit. Too damn snug, all of 'em pinch my feet like crazy and I already went a half size up. 😬🤣
@@damiancassiusenano2743 PJ's are like the 598's. I can grab mine right now and try to flex them, and even with them being more than a year old (i kept wearing them after I finished skating them) they're stiffer than my busenitz that are basically brand new (skated 2 days). Personally, I got to try them on in the store before buying so I already knew what to expect with the sizing. I could see how it would be annoying if you bought them on line though since their sizing is way off. My PJ's are a full size above what i usually wear - I don't really look at it is a negative though as long as I know what to expect.
George K not to me they aren't. Both 533 V1, 2 and even the 598s made my feet feel nothing and not in a good way. I love how they look and are durable but for the most part, they are a pain to use. That's why I doubled up on some and those unskated ones are for casual use. I rarely buy stuff online, I usually buy pairs whenever I go out to travel abroad, save maybe for some I see on local shops that are either on clearance or are a nice shoe, ie Emerica Reynolds G6 cupsole joints. I'm a pretty heavy dude that's why I need as much cushioning and impact protection I can get. Vulcs look nice and all, but I'd rather not have to have heel bruises even on flatground. 😂👌🏻

Rewired Skateboarding that’s surprising. currently skating my second pair in a row. first pair lasted me around 3-4 months and i’ve had this second pair for about 2 and they feel absolutely perfect for me. best skate shoe out there imo
Adidas has no heel support, these retards just dont know how to make shoes wit good heels. Sucius feel like the heel is not in place, slips all the time
Skankwave yea that is true for the sucius but try the buzenitz pro those have good heel support
@@skankwave5245 Buy the shoe 1 size smaller. That should fix it.(I did the same) I m very very happy with the shoe but it lost its grip in about a month. No big deal, I ve fixed that with some Shoe goo on the ollie pad area.
