Im 50 .Conceived at Woodstock so i hear from 2 runaways. I was raised by these 2 beautiful hippys in Chicago. I grew up eating vegatarian, wearing these clothes and listening to the Beatles. You warm my heart beautiful girl. I am batteling cancer and you really have got me through some rough times dealing with chemo radiation and all the rest that goes along with it. Im a forever hippy. Love Sharon Tate and John Lennon especially. Loved your sharon makeup and hair and clothes!! Thanku Devyn may u always be a forever hippy gypsy spirit.
you said, you only have so many clothes, yes girl, very true and it's awesome that you really appreciate them and not like other influencers woh rarely wear the same thing twice, which is such a bad thing to do when it comes to the environment...
I think everyone appreciates that you "only have so many clothes" because so much of "influencer culture"'makes people feel like you can NEVER outfit repeat. It's much more useful and inspirational to see a normal amount of garments worn in different ways, and makes it much easier for people to become inspired to use their wardrobe to the fullest.
So funny when she said the outfit was giving her Kelso vibes I was like it’s giving me Hyde vibes and then she was like you know what it’s giving me Hyde vibes now. lol. 💛🧡
So Lovley!!! Devyn you are so wonderful and you are always so nice to everyone. You are such an icon mate and watching your video's just make me happy. I love 60's & 70's and i will always love these groovy time's. I love watching your video's and always belive in yourself Devyn Crimson.
I graduated in 1971 and alot of girls wore skirts with button down shirts with cable knee socks or pantyhose with platform hills, jeans weren't alllowed! I'm a male and I loved that look on girls, alot of my girlfriends wore this! To me it looked really dressie!
I'm always impressed with how successful you are at finding unique items while thrifting, regardless of where you are in the country. I often struggle to find anything exciting and end up feeling frustrated by the prevalence of fast fashion and uninspiring pieces.
Hey! My name is Clara, I am 14 years old and I am brazilian. Me and my friend are looking to find our styles, and I am completely in love with clothes from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Your channel has been a big inspiration to me, thanks for making this kind of content.
dude this changed my life. i need to donate the stuff i don't like and focus on finding cool pieces that bring me joy when im thrifting. im so inspired rn
Love this kind of video! Informational, creative, and even some ASMR vibes with the fabric crinkles & calm voice. Thanks for all the thought and time you put into your stuff (:
Those red heels are to die for! And you look amazing in the low rise jeans, not many can pull that look off! Loved the video as always ❤️ hope you’re staying safe!
The red gear looks great by the way. I remember women used to wear these sometimes without accoutrement i think because they are so emphatic, and to emphasize the hair, face etc ... same maybe with the coloured coats. People dress so shabby now. Enjoy these vids.. remind me of when I was 4. Fun to watch the vids.. youtube suggestion... and fun to hear your voice brightens up in the ones with your lad :-) Good luck to you...
Omg yes ! I was born spring of 70. My grandmother used to dress mod she was in her late 30s. My mom was 17 and a hippy. But i remember the beautiful long silk dresses and suede mini skirts. Even in a relaxed style as hippy fashion quality pcs well put together. My grandmother wore wigs. I loved them she had beautiful natural hair because she didn't color it like we do lol, if she wanted change she but on a wig!! The shoes and purses were made so well.
I recently found your channel and I have to say thank you so much for doing what you love. I have always enjoyed vintage clothing from all different era's, but never really knew how to put pieces together. Watching you and people like Rachel Maksy have really inspired me to step outside of my comfort zone and begin to wear different things. I enjoy different clothes from different time periods. Ive ordered clothes from etsy and thredup and have really enjoyed wearing new outfits. I get excited when I get something new in the mail. 😂 Thank you so much for being you and doing what you do. ❤
Aw thank you for being so supportive and kind. It means a lot that I can help people feel good about themselves and express themselves the way they want to to the world 💞 I hope you have some fun styling some new looks! 😍
this video is so helpful!!! as someone who's still in high school (well not anymore, I don't think we're going back and it's my last year :') ) it's good to have more casual takes on 60s and 70s style as I'm not fully comfortable going all out yet. even next year I can see myself walking around a college campus in outfits like this. I love all your videos and take so much inspiration from them
your voice is so chill like most youtubers I find are just over the top and kinda stress me to watch. but u it’s just .... chill lol. sometimes I just put on your vids just to vibe, even if I ain’t watching it lol

I love all these outfits, I wish I could go thrift shopping just in your wardrobe 😍😂 I reallllly wanna thrift some jeans as soon as lockdown is over, my favourites are wearing through so I keep having to repair them 😅 it's a shame good fitting jeans are almost impossible to get online, I really need to try them on... Living vicariously through your outfits anyways lol ❤️❤️
I would say... knee high boots, a pair of groovy glasses, mini skirts of any kind with a belt, and a blazer with a button up blouse & scarves would all be good items to have that you could make multiple outfits from in this style-- even with items you may already own! xox
Converse are sweet. I got the Nike Cortez which I saw was release in ‘73. I’m sure there’s other kinds I just googled popular 70s tennis shoes and then looked to see if they still made the style I liked💖
Hey hi Devyn, its me again I just got off speaking to the Post Office and they said the package has been at your Post Office ,it got there on April 23rd that it may have been larger than your box and they are holding it for you.
Hey! I want to say thank you so much for the package! It arrived and I cannot believe everything you sent! So so sweet! I will cherish it all! Thank you bunches, Teresa! 💖 I hope you are doing well and staying healthy! So much love!
Hi! I'm replying super late to this but i'm 5'2 and have 3 pairs of flares. Two are from American Eagle and one is a more wide legged pair from Levis! American Eagle have many options for flares right now and have short and x short length options, and the pair I have from Levis are the "Mile High Wide Legged Crop Jeans" that are supposed to be a crop flare but hit me nicely at the ankle. I get the regular length at American Eagle because I like my bell bottoms to cover my shoes slightly, but if you get the short option they'll hit properly!
LOVE THIS VIDEO!! Such a stellar job once again Devyn! I don’t know if you’ve heard of this brand before, but Camp Collection (www.shopcamp.com) is a 70s Summer Camp inspired women’s, men’s, and children’s brand that make such amazing tees (and other pieces too) that are perfection with jeans for a 70s casual vibe. They have sample sales often which make snagging a tee quite a steal! The are also making masks during this time in support of the COVID-19 recovery efforts! Highly recommend checking them out!!
Just slowly add peices like a flair jean. You can paint a canvas bag with fabric paint. Butterflies, flowers, geometric shapes etc. Tight fitting tees.Turtlenecks.. start getting accessories. Little at a time. Its a fun hobby. Thrift stores have so many hidden treasures when quarentine is over.
