I am having the exact same issue. I had to replace the power steering pump and in the process I had to remove the engine cooling fan. I replaced the PS pump with no problem and reinstalled the fan and reconnected the fan electrical connector. The A/C was working fine before, now it just blows hot and the compressor is not engaging. I am wondering if I need to clear a fault code or something in the computer now?
