- God’s Love God’s Standard
As I prayed about God using me more and His power working through my life I heard the Spirit of the Lord speak to me once more about God’s love.
He told me that all loveless actions disempowers us and strips us of Authority as it causes us to commit a serious Spiritual violation. He said to me this is why most Christians will never tap into the full Blessing that is available to them.
I was reminded of something I read about Kenneth E Hagin. Now when I was a young Christian the first Christian books I ever read were the Books of Kenneth E Hagin. His life and the Gift of Healing upon his life inspired me so much that I actually joined Rhema Bible School in the 90’s and studied through them correspondence. They sent me many of Kenneth E Hagins books, which inspired me and shifted my Theology.
Kenneth E. Hagin is often described as the "father of the Word of Faith movement" in Charismatic circles. He is known for pioneering the teachings that believers can speak things into existence through faith, often referred to as "positive confession". His influence extends to many contemporary Charismatic leaders, and he founded the Rhema Bible Training Center to further disseminate his teachings.
His teachings have influenced many contemporary Charismatic leaders, including Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Creflo Dollar, and Joel Osteen.
Hagin founded the Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which has trained thousands of ministers and laypeople in his teachings. His books, radio ministry, and magazine have reached millions, spreading his message of faith, healing, prosperity, and the power of prayer
The Holy Spirit reminded me of something I read:
Kenneth E. Hagin’s memorial service
What was Kenneth Hagin’ greatest attribute?”
And my answer is always the same: “His love walk!”
If you had the opportunity to attend Dad’s memorial service or to view it on the Internet, I’m sure you noticed that every person who spoke that day said that they never heard Kenneth Hagin say a bad word about anyone! Never!
If Dad couldn’t say something good about a person, he wouldn’t say anything at all.
I never heard him criticize or bad-mouth anyone in my entire 64 years on this planet! At times, my mother would get frustrated and say to him, “Honey, just tell the truth about them.” But Dad would say, “They may have repented and everything may be all right now. I don’t want to be the one to speak a question mark or a black mark on their life.” That was Kenneth E. Hagin! Most people knew the man on the platform . . .
I’ll hear Dad’s words of truth and wisdom as they guide me
through the rest of my life. To the man for whom I’m named, my
father, my spiritual leader and mentor: your legacy of faith in God’s Word will live forever. I’m so grateful for all you have given
me. Because of your example and your life, I can face tomorrow and I will be all that I can be in the Lord.
To Dad, I’ll love you forever!
Your son, Ken

What Compels you ?
2 Corinthians 5:14
New International Version
For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died.
Amplified Bible
For the love of Christ controls and compels us, because we have concluded this, that One died for all, therefore all died;
Smith's Literal Translation
For the love of Christ holds us together; having judged this, that if one died for all, then all dead:
Remember what we said when I spoke about the Love test a while ago:
There are typically 4 types of Love we discuss in Bible school in the original greek:
4 Greek words
Sensual Love - ‘eros’ .
Family Love - ‘storgé’
Friendship Love- ‘phileo’
The Love of God - ‘agapé’
Paul says agapé compels us
